If you're looking at it like that then you're looking at it wrong.

The point is to shine a light on a culture of "who gives a sh it" that's been running wild within our government and hopefully prevent it from happening again.

Sorry to hear that mate, I am just saying that whatever the Met come up with will make no difference to what’s gone on. The only way Boris will be gone his when his own cronies decide the time for him, it won’t be the Met that influences this, we already know he went to parties so that’s why I say it is a waste of resource on their part. Again I say sorry for your loss.

How much "resources" do you really think they'll be putting into this? A couple of Police Cadets with a remit to find nowt incriminating otherwise their days in The Force are numbered. Yet another whitewash.

Utter ballox. Investigation into potential criminal activity at the heart of government a waste of money? What alternate reality do you live in?

Sorry mate but your post was complete rubbish and deserved to be called out - as others have done.

    That's most crime then.

We can downsize the justice system to almost zero in that case. Nice, you've just saved the country billions.

My last word then, we don’t need the Met to tell us Boris is in the wrong we already know and the only people that will make a difference to his wrong doings are his own people, his downfall will happen soon enough, but it won’t be because of any time and effort spent by the police force, thats my point mate

I don't think there are many other options given the linear progression of time.

They should all be prosecuted, fined and dismissed for breaking the rules they themselves set.

I still think the rules were ridiculous and the fines were disproportional. It goes to show those making the rules thought the same too, but that doesn't excuse it in anyway at all.
All the people who left loved ones to suffer because they followed these awful rules, it's disgusting.

Yeah, I get your point, but the minute you let criminal behaviour slide at the top of government its then effectively been given the official seal of approval and it makes it harder to prosecute any further wrongdoing in the future.

According to a retired plod from the met investigation shouldn't take too long because Ms Grey handed them dates times etc all they need to do is look on CCTV and study logs of access system in downing Street to see who was where and when and hand out fixed penalties

Maximum tariff for MiPO is life.

Lying to Parliament is a resigning matter - and when asked in Parliament, he explicitly stated there were no parties...

I cannot see how he can stay in post, and he might be facing prison (especially if the instructions to "destroy evidence" are correct).

I was having a discussion just last week about what may eventually become of dePfeffel.

He's a habitual liar. He just can't help himself. He creates alternative universes of his perceived truth. His problem becomes when he tells his lies in a scenario under certain conditions which make him liable.

I could absolutely see him telling lies under caution. I could absolutely see him jailed. Which frankly is where he belongs for his multitude of other crimes while in office as London Mayor and Prime Minister.
