and then he’ll decide whether it will be released/published in full or partially. Also, Labour askingwill he give time for the report to be digested properly before discussing it in Parliament? I remain sceptical.
Government said on the 17th that the report would be released in full. Massively redacted version incoming...
Apparently it will be redacted if there are security implications. Not sure how many security implications will come out of a report about parties. Perhaps there is a secret cake mix that they don’t want us to know about
Met have got involved. Want it redacting to include ‘minimal references to events it is investigating’. The day after Bozo says ‘the report will be published in full’ So they want a report on the parties, to remove references to the parties? Is it me, or does the whole thing just scream ‘Operation Cover Up’?
Not a good week already for the Tories with trying to push Universal Credit claimants in to any old job and Truss popping to Australia at the cost of half a million pounds.
According to Sky News, Sue Gray is contemplating whether to publish the report as the Met said the report should be watered down as an inquiry is being carried out, the all thing stinks of corruption, this country is as bad as Russia if not worse.
I'm not sure I quite agree about it being watered down, simply the police asking for things not to be placed into the public domain until they've conducted their investigation. That all makes sense really. What doesn't make sense is that the police waited for an internal enquiry to find evidence before deciding to launch its own investigations. I've no doubt that Downing Street are going to try buy time and pretend they've not caused chaos and disaster in the mean time til it's published. DePfeffel is a dead duck, whether he wants to pretend he isn't is up to him. And the longer the tories cowardly plot while endorsing him, fine. It's a plague on their houses too.
