Thought he tried to lead the midfield a lot more today and got stuck in. Wolfe was the inspiration in midfield today but it made Palmer, and Benson, up their games.
Wolfe did more today than Palmer has done all season. One looks to have a great future (not necessarily with us) and the other is a complete waste of molecules.
Young Marsh showed more guts and determination in his short time on the pitch than Palmer has all season, I'd play him from the srart on Wednesday.
The fact we’re talking about a bunch of kids who should be nowhere near playing in a championship relegation battle says it all
He wasn’t great. I don’t think he’s lazy or spineless. He’s just out of his depth at this level, currently.
Odd really, at least if you judge his performance in numbers against everyone else's.. Tackles 4 Interceptions 3 That was the best on both sides (Helik also had 3 interceptions but only 3 tackles) I saw most of the game and felt we weren't as effective when he went off, although I'd say the same about Wolfe too. Certainly not spineless, but with only 60 championship appearances it seems harsh. I guess some folk need a whipping boy regardless.
