I can understand that view from someone looking in from the outside but it's a matter of time before we drop out of the playoff places. We are in a false position, the teams above us have 2 and 4 games in hand of us, better goal differences and in better form. Saturday was a complete capitulation and the worst result in our history and one of the worst performances ever seen. We were lucky to only lose 6 nil, it could well have been 8 or 9 to a team who were well the bottom half of the league. Something isn't right and whatever we had earlier in the season has gone. I'm surprised he was sacked as we have seen these performances before where from one week to the next it's like a team of strangers but it's the right call but only if we get someone better.
Never rated Johnson tbh. I believe he’s been very lucky with getting jobs at Bristol and Sunderland where he has had a decent size budget for players and he hasn’t made the most of it.
Yea...agree with that. I liken him to our board, has some very good buzz words and talks a very good game. Unfortunately his sum is greater than his parts...he often takes over teams with half decent squads but genrally fails to deliver. If i were Sunderland id have Grant McCann in a heartbeat.
