Just 14 measly points by February. 14! It’s even more depressing when you realise 8 of those 14 points were already on the board by the 18th September.
It's so annoying that an experienced Championship manager wasn't appointed. The situation looked bad when Schopp was sacked, but a total of 3 points in 11 games since Asbaghi arrived has rendered survival virtually impossible. Even a relatively poor total of 11 points from 11 games, from 3 wins, 2 draws and 6 defeats, would have given us a good fighting chance of avoiding the drop. As it is, we now look doomed.
What worried me was the other coaches were up and down encouraging the lads whilst Ashbagi stood there impassive in complete contrast to Stendel and Ishmael who kicked every ball and showed passion. It isn't inspiring to fans and players I suspect.
