We are still playing a suicidal high line in order to protect our terrible midfield. In reality to cut out the “mistakes” we need to play deeper in defence so we’re not exposing individuals to last ditch tackles/passes/situations. I’d have more respect for the new guy if he saw this and at least tried to change it, even if it meant giving up more possession.
You only had to look at his league record in Sweden he didn’t win a single game in his last dozen or so and that’s managing a team who should be beating most in that League.
I'm not so sure about the high line being an issue. Andersen and Helik needed to be stronger last night. And they messed up against Forest and Birmingham. Collins messed up against Bournemouth. Doesn't matter what setup you have, if you're making mistakes like that, it will cost you.
The football is better under Poya than Schopp the players are improving under Poya they were getting worse under Schopp. If Poya is a yes man to Conway let's get a no man instead that will work well. We are getting relegated this season there is no doubt about it maybe if we give a coach time we can start league 1 from decent base and not starting again from scratch. Next season some two faced people will be singing ei ei ei o Poya is our king.
I can't see it. Although Poya Ashbaggi does fit really well for Red and white army,so I hope you're right!
There’s still too many occasions in every game where the ball is in the middle of our half and if you froze play you would count 2-3 of our defenders and 2-3 opposition attackers all running towards our goal at the same time. Now I’m no coach but I don’t think that’s ideal. Reminds me of my sons u11s games.
Well i think there was a level of frustration that was evident in some of the interviews that were given
I've just got visions of him saying warm yourselves up and here's the football from the way training has been spoken about!
