That was a disgrace today. At half time people could have been crushed trying to get to that toilet. Kids with their dads were scared to death. morons staying in the toilet smoking and drinking and making matters worse.
it was a serious accident waiting to happen. I found the police sergeant who was in charge and he tried to do something about it. he told me he'd be doing a report to huddersfield to complain about that and a number of other issues.
I'll be writing to the health and safety inspectorate and htafc accordingly.
    Appalling.

We have slightly over half the capacity of the stand and yet they have us all queuing in one big line down the side waiting around ages with home fans walking past goading and our own fans nearly coming to blows from people trying to push in. I felt sorry for the young family in front of me who were with a little girl who looked was maybe three years old at the most and a boy around six or seven.

We dont need to better to cash in on big away days. We should have been allocated the full stand we would have sold another 2k even though were *****.

Would we though? I don't really get why there were so many empty seats in the away end today. We sold it out didn't we?

I know loads who wanted tickets i think we could have sold over 3k maybe 4k is pushing it with the football on show. I thought there was a few empty seats but that could be the ones who just buy a ticket and stand on the stairs i went to the bog mid game and the amout of fans not watching and just drinking was quite a few

And yet how many times did you want to beat someone up because of it?

would be ideal if people focused less on stadium design and coppers with cameras, and more on the people who choose to behave like absolute cap ends, because they're losing a game of football. I don't think I've once in my life gone to a match, not been happy with the state of the bogs, or the width of the segregation cordon, and decided to start leathering someone or throw a flare at someone's head. it's just never occurred to me to do that.

I suppose that it was the stands design to blame for Beth getting abused the other week, the stands design to blame for the toilets getting vandalised, the stands design to blame for an Accrington player being attacked yesterday etc.

Sadly a lot of football fans are nothing but pissed up arseholes who don't know how to behave in public and the problem is even more evident at away games where we regularly see people post on here that they're proudly say getting **** faced 5 hours before kick off. If it was up to me there'd be breathalysers at the turnstiles and anyone over a set limit would be refused entry.

Didnt see a accrington player get attacked yesterday a rotherham fan ran on the pitch and kicked the ball that was on the pen spot.

Its fine having a drink before the game. Unfortunately i think we have alot of younger lads who follow us and alcohol seems to bring out the worst in them.

Agreed that there are a lot of ******* moronic football supporters who need a lesson in how to behave and handle their ale. However…

Yesterday, we had some brilliant beers in Magic Rock and Brewdog, a couple of cans on the train from Leeds and a pint in the Head of Steam after the game waiting for the train, and we did not feel the need to act like pond life. So, while I get your point regarding breathalysers, I would vehemently oppose it.

After he kicked the ball he hit an Accrington player and was chased across the pitch

Perhaps not a breathalyser then but anyone showing to be intoxicated shouldn't be allowed in. Then again I'm sure that's the law anyway

One of the big problems that has always annoyed me is that we have a small section of absolute knobheads who support Barnsley and we can all point them out in a lineup because we've all seen them regularly acting like knobheads yet they are still sold tickets? Why? If I can pick out certain fans because they've routinely been a knobhead then why can't the club? In fact I'd argue that the club can but just don't really care.

Also this isn't unique to Barnsley, it seems to be replicated up and down the country. The ticket money comes first.

Ah didnt realise that seen nothing of that. Actualy just seen a fan run on the pitch and attack the forest players after there 3rd goal this aft. Yesterday was most scrapping ive seen at a game for a while maybe cheap tickets attracted more idiots or maybe its getting worse.
