    Out of these three, which would you have take over now with the rest of the club as is? Board the same, squad the same. Contract allows for relegation and a rebuild job if the miracle isn't pulled off.

    Big Val’s shock tactics only option with an outside chance of keeping us up or getting a tune out of whatever limited resources he would be allowed in the event of a relegation rebuild.

    It wouldn’t be pretty but we’d at least be putting up a fight and, dare we dream, actually win a few games.

    Doubt you would get any of these to coms back. Can’t see Hecky leaving Bramble Lane to come back here. Big Val ? Can’t see it myself and possibly an outside chance with Stendel. Daniel did take to the Barnsley and vice versa.

    Liked D Stendel but he couldn't do any thing at Nancy FC this season so gotta go with Val. Paper talk about N Warnock but even he could not turn it round given the situation we are in plus he is not crazy enough to work for this board as he is his own man not the puppet of the owners..

    Daniel Stendal was vastly overrated, inherited a good squad that I could have even got promoted that season. Likeable bloke though.

    Loved big Val & would have him back in a heartbeat.

    But we need stability, so I would have Hecky back to sort this mess out. He’s one of our own, based locally, & back room staff would no doubt be British based.

    I am not sure why Hecky gets a mention, he could possibly be taking Utd to the premier league , he will be on a lot more money there , we are going to be in division one next season & he has an axe to grind with our owners , so why on earth would he give coming back to us any thought at all ? Stendel as much as he was loved by the majority he also left under a cloud & I do not see him being considered but with Val it was the owners who cashed in , he left on good terms & was a huge success here , it would be great to have him back, his passion & his drive reflected in his players & that kind of drive & tenacity will be needed if we are serious about bouncing back next season , bring him back !!!!

    If Neil came and it was only to season end, then working with this board shouldn't be an issue cos he would only have to organise this current squad. I don't believe that Conway picks the team.
