The baseball revenue is more apt for the salary cap as opposed to any resale value.

Look at that following in our circumstances. Many on here thought we wouldn't come close to selling out our allocation. If we had asked for the full end and got them sold quicker so general sale wasn't as late as Tuesday we could have sold out the whole end.

    I know. That’s my point.

Comparing two very different things and methods. The only consistent part of it is the data analysis but even that’s used differently.

@Loko the Tyke we are in agreement buddy.

What can be done statistically in games like cricket and baseball is very different to football. This is where I think a lot of the data doesn’t always discover the best players/teams. Baseball and cricket, although team games, essentially pit individuals against individual, football is more about the sum of the parts.

And that’s why it’s even more frustrating watching the club slide

Hence the missing piece of the jigsaw being one or two established leaders to bring it all together (and some better signings as well).

I can see an argument against the likes of Gomez but an experienced midfielder is a different situation altogether

Every fan will have a different opinion of course.

Gomes was the type of player we've needed for years along with an attacking left-back. We got both via loans.

    Who would you go for?
