    not covered on our MSM, the Canadian people trying to get all Covid mandates dropped, how can something so big be ignored by our media?. Quite scary really how the media decides what narrative we see

    I hope your not insinuating that Mr blackface Trudeau is a racist ? It is an interesting one this , especially the media's apparent lack of interest in this story . I'm guessing they don't want people to find out that if the masses mobilize then then the power they hold will dwarf the power government seem to hold over us .

    I saw Go Fund Me backtracked yesterday after refusing to release £9m in donated funds to the organisation behind the freedom convey. Initially you had to request a refund, but after criticism (thankfully) they’re going to automate the refunds.

    Doesn’t get away from the fact that Trudeau is dictating who can get their GFM money and who can’t.

    Yep, an incredibly dangerous precedent which presumably paves the way for banks to be able to confiscate the funds of individuals whose opinions are politically unpalatable.

    Small country? Doesn't England fit into Canada 40 times? Also do you actually believe that people not supporting mandates now are all nutters? What mandates do you support now? We aren't talking about 22 months ago but now?

    The narrative is starting to change, thankfully, but it isn’t changing quickly enough. What’s happening in Canada is appalling but there’s more awareness now of how much government control is being sought, how freedoms are being threatened, etc.

    Interesting how many lockdown supporters, in terms of self proclaimed journalists, are slowly trying to soften their stance because they’re aware it’s no longer the popular opinion. Shameful really.

    Taking the political issue out of this for now, what was unbelievable to me was not that GFM was withholding the funds, but after a call from Trudeau (apparently), they decided to distribute the funds to other charities they believed were worthy. They backtracked when the Governor of Florida stated that he was going to start legal action against them.

    If people want to donate to a cause, that is their right. For the "bank" to decide they are wrong and give it to someone else, is abhorrent.

    It is not the first time that GFM have frozen / closed appeals which they do not agree with, politically.

    Also, there was a huge convoy of trucks and vehicles yesterday to Canberra, for the same reason.

    It's sad that we have reached the point where people are saying they want freedom and liberty are branded "nutters"
    When we look back at history people/groups have made stands for those things have been perceived to be on the right side of history.
