I’m not sure he’s ever been a proper centre forward in his career. He likes to get the ball and carry it. He’s not a target man and prefers coming on to balls from a wide position.

Hence our last three head coaches, including Val, playing him wide.

I must be extremely measured then, based on that criteria.

Yes but Val had Dike in the middle so could afford to indulge Morris allowing him play on the left.

Laughing. Dike didn’t start or play every minute of every game and Val didn’t once move Morris central.

But who would you play in the middle if your playing a front 3? He is the only forward with any strength who can win a header. Cauley is injured and is weak in the air, iseka doesnt look intrested and vic not really sure he is good enough.

I would play Morris in the position he’s excelled in since joining us. I wouldn’t put him somewhere else to fix an issue where you then might not get the best of him.

Maybe he’d be different in a two but he’s definitely a player who’s more effective coming on to things and coming from deep with options in front of him.

I would never start Iseka as the lone striker again. That should be a sackable offence on the spot. But we’re limited in proper striker options with Cole being the better of a poor bunch.

I think morris is capable of playing both wide in a front 3 or as the central striker he is strong enough qnd can hold the ball up. Problem is head coach is clueless and after 14 games law of averages says you should win at least one i cant see us winning a game under him. But we did beat 10 man barrow from league 2 so maybe im been harsh.

You’re not adding to the discussion there though. You’re just repeating what you say in every other post about defeats, winless runs, etc. Nobody is going to disagree with you on that - we all see it and feel it.
