Oh, I don't know - "N, C, C, Out" to the tune of YMCA is quite catchy.

This is pretty much how I feel too.
I’d like new owners, but the whole way this movement has been organised from the start strikes me as completely wrong.

Its not a coincidence that the behaviour of our fans had gone downhill since this kicked off. This group is as embarrassing as our results on the pitch IMHO.

I know that some want the whole ownership to go, but the Cryne family have yet to do anything that I'm aware of that I fundamentally object to from their position as minority investors. Until such time as this changes I don't feel any need to campaign for their removal.

The worst thing they could do at the moment, as far as I'm concerned, is to sell their share of Oakwell to the 80% group. I'm glad that they and the council still own the stadium and I think it's in the best interests for BFC long-term that it stays this way under the current ownership model.

Well, I'm assuming they knew the £750k they pocketed came from the club they are shareholders in?

Mmm. They've presided over the total running down and degradation of the stadium over the last 20 years.

New City Capital is just Chien Lee.

Parekh and Beane for example are outside of both of those entities.

I've covered this previously before, but I'd say it was unlikely at the time the payment was made.

They've also publicly stated that the installment isn't a liability of the football club, which contradicts the Conway version of events and is consistent with the statutory account details.

They were rightfully owed the £750k, along with the unpaid £2.75m.

My objection to it arises from it not being paid by the entity that had the liability, not with the Crynes receiving monies that were owed to them.

I don't really know what that means.

Did the crynes end up with the £750k?

Rough Translation of the image of what the AS Nancy fans are calling a 'press release to Chien Lee' which I posted above:-

    ‎Dear Mr. Chien Lee,
Our teams, AS Nancy Lorraine and Barnsley FC, are clubs belonging to your New City Capital group. When you bought our teams, we all had a lot of hope for changes and a clear plan for our clubs. Today, our teams are in a dramatic situation. The worst thing about this situation is that we have had no contact for almost 6-7 months with our presidents, Mr. Gauthier Ganaye for Nancy, and Mr. Paul Conway for Barnsley. This situation is dramatic and extremely worrying for all fans. We still do not know the direction you want to take regarding the sports project of our clubs. All we want are clear and quick answers before the worst happens. Because of this situation, many demonstrations and mobilizations took place on the part of the fans. Thus, we write to you to ask:
    - A president present on a daily basis in each of the teams of Nancy and Barnsley.
    - A publicly presented project concerning the path you want our two teams to take.
    - A meeting with you to take stock of this project and respect for the history of our two teams.
Without a response from you, we will be obliged to maintain the current mobilizations until the situation has changed or someone with respect for football and fans takes over our two teams. Fans of other teams including those of Den Bosch through the voice of Duketown Crew and M-Side are worried about the situations we are experiencing and fear to follow the same path shortly and are already ready to join our movement if this were to happen.
    With our sports greetings,
The Fans of AS NANCY LORRAINE The Fans of BARNSLEY For the movement "Red and White Union"‎

It was paid to Oakwell Holdings Limited, a company that they control.

It was also owed to that company, so I don't object to them receiving monies they were owed.

I do object to the wrong company paying that liability, to the detriment of the football operations of BFC, and from funds which include my season ticket monies. The only person defending that action at present is Paul Conway.

Are you sure that payment wasn’t part of the agreement and if it wasn’t why did the Crynes accept it ?

How can you object to the way the payment was made but not how the payment was received? If I was given money that I knew was gained via immoral methods I don't think I would be able to accept it, that would surely make me as culpable as the other party, wouldn't it?
