My first Barnsley match, (not my first football match) was Barnsley vs Crewe Alexandra in 1975. 1-1 draw. We all have to start somewhere.
About as depressing a post as I've seen on here. 'No one tells how to act', then complains about 'childish drivel' in the same sentence. IQ of a turnip.
If you hold up a poster and block my view of the pitch, you'll be the one getting it with both barrels.
This thread is a sad example of where we’re at right now. The OP is about something great, with one of our fellow supporters taking a load of kids to their first game. Simply, and fairly, asking those who might want to protest to do it respectfully - which is a sound notion considering what Conway Out has meant at the last two home games. Yet somehow we’ve got supporters bickering, calling each other names, and this bizarre stance that the aggro might come from those who don’t want to protest. Enjoy the game. Hate the game. Shout whatever you want. Hold up whatever you want. But let’s be sure that this doesn’t impact on anyone else’s experience or ruin their day. It’s not very hard really is it?
If you read what I put instead of jumping straight in, I said whilst expressing my right to protest if challenged I would give back both barrells, you read it how you want but I meant verbally no violence no aggression.
Yet folk on here judging folk all with the same brush as baying tin throwing packs of animals ! It’s gotta work both ways.
To quote yourself, did you read my post? I mentioned everyone/all comments. It’s a thread about kids going to football. Resorting to stuff like turnips and fellow supporters getting it both barrel, is literally a mad connection of the dots from the OP.
Please stop saying “Read what I put…” I think we all have. In turn please don’t think for a minute that you represent me.
