Come on the Bengals. It would be a great underdog story if they can beat the team with home advantage when they have been useless for thirty years. The best bet I can see though is Cooper Kupp to get the Rams a touchdown at 6/4 from 4/7.... https://www.paddypower.com/bet He has got them one in all three play off matches, including two last time out against the 49ers. Looking forward to some Dr Dre and Eminem as part of the half time show.
Bengals fan for the night as what even are the LA Rams other than the 'galacticos' of American Football? Not looking forward to all the celebs telling us how great LA is when it's an absolute disaster of a city. It's great from your Hollywood mansions! My free £5 bet has gone on Chase to get the first TD. I've just picked out too, as a bet builder, Over 38.5 points, Kupp to score anytime, and Burrows to throw more than 280 yards - combined at 21/10 which feels like a sound bet to me.
Fingers crossed we get what we want. I like the 4/1 Skybet are giving for 24+ points per side. As a 49ers fan I can't have the Rams win. I like the rumour of Spurs stadium hosting a Superbowl in a few years. Getting hold of a ticket would be like rocking horse **** mind. FINALLY The Rock has come BACK to Los Angeles.
Really don't like the Rams but Stafford is a sound guy. Bengals were one big play away from winning that. My bet came up 17 yards short as well and I fell asleep for the last 90 seconds after making it through the whole game.
I watched it and tried to understand the rules. It just looked like rugby with less excitement and more adverts. Maybe I'm just uncultured
Through gritted teeth the Rams deserved it. Beckham Jnr injury and then the foul that wasn't spotted at the start of the third for the TD could have done them over.
The Kupp TD bet came up easily and he deserved his MVP award. The half time show was one of the best I have seen. Real nostalgia to see so many acts singing old songs. It was just missing having Eminem and Dr Dre do Guilty Conscience, but it probably wouldn't have been allowed as the lyrics aren't prime time family friendly.
Watching it in the States you really get a feel for how big a deal this is here. Still managed to fall asleep before the end so nothing changes.
I fell asleep for the last two minutes. Literally a second after that two minute warning horn went off. At that point you might as well miss the whole thing and go to bed at 11pm.....
I think I made it to the end of the first quarter. Last score I remember was the Bengals' field goal make it 7-3. I've got it recorded, so I'll catch up on it, including the half-time show, later on. Disappointing that the Bengals couldn't complete the fairytale, but the Rams gamble paid off in terms of them mortgaging the future to win a Superbowl now.
Where do they go from here though? Do the stars slowly leave year after year as it's mission accomplished, or did they look to dominate for years to come and keep on spending? I like Stafford, so I was ok with it from that sense, but they're such a nothing team overall. The Bengals could, and should, have put it out of sight.
