    Starting to realise people just type without really thinking it through.

    Great promotion for Clarkey. Rewarding those behind the scenes, who've been loyal to us and worked their arses off, with more responsibilities, career progression and no doubt improved remuneration, is exactly what I want our football club to be doing. It doesn't fix anything else, but in isolation it's a huge positive. Signal of intent off the pitch to get better and improve, with the right people in charge of making it happen.

    Top man Andy. The first to welcome me to Oakwell when I finished my walk, introduced me to Steve Croft, Stendel, showed me around the place (including the depths of the West Stand!) and communicated throughout, before and after and on the night (half time). These are the people you remember, who really care about the club, and are a credit to us.

    Well deserved.

    Serious question Loko. Despite the progress being made, how do I get over the owners using, on the face of it, my season ticket money to help fund their purchase of the club? At the moment it presents a major stumbling block in terms of my ongoing support.

    I can't answer that for you mate. It's a tough one on many levels. But I think this is a positive moment for an individual who has done an incredible job over the last few years, especially giving everything we've had to deal with, and that can be celebrated regardless of the stance you may be taking against the current regime

    We've just appointed a new Marketing and Commercial Director. It's a story that would have been covered when both Linton Brown and Ian Leech got similar jobs.

    Depends which high profile companies they are going to target for sponsorship. Remember when the 80%'ers came in and said we would be using our contacts to bring in global sponsorship. 1st chance they get when CK Beckett ended their association and we sign up The Investment Room from Roverum, not exactly the global brand we all expected
