You do realise a successful vaccine rollout isn't exclusive to the UK yeah? Countries such as Chile, Cuba and Vietnam all have better rollout programs than us.

I don't think we're even in the top 10 countries anymore for population vaccinated.

We’re not, and haven’t been for ages.
But the media in this country don’t challenge government ministers lies.
    See also:
    Unemployment down (up)
Best performing economy in G7 (2nd or 3rd)
    Crime down (up)
    Or even
    There were no parties
There were events but they weren’t parties
There may have been parties but I didn’t attend
I may have briefly attended but I didn’t realise it was a party.

People only believe lies like this when they actually want to. No one really genuinely believes them. It’s what in human terms would be described as an abusive relationship.

    So @Duntpasstome can I ask:
When you voted Tory at the last election, you absolutely knew that Johnson was a narcissist. A liar (as soon as the Brexit vote came in, everyone else on the team admitted the £350m was a lie, but he stood by it). You knew he was a serial adulterer. You knew that he’d given up political and financial favours in return for sex.
So what made you think he’d make a good PM?

I can honestly say I did not vote Tory and never have. I also didn't vote Labour at the last election either as they were a shambles and prior to that ì have always voted Labour.

The poll is a simple question which no one seems to want to answer with out a load of spin around the response.
If we had remained in the EU (which I wanted) and Labour were in power would we have secured the vaccines and rolled them out as we have , yes - no or same and why?
With the imminent invasion of the Ukraine would Labour have stood with the US against the Russians Yes - No - same and why?

I've not asked if Johnson is a scumbag, I know the answer to that one.

You will be right but we have done OK even though we are not top 10. I have been able to eat out, work, watch football, go to the pub for quite a while now, due to the vaccine role out in our country and that is ahead if lots of other countries, the question do people think that would have been the same, worse or better under labour?

Everyone that has posted in this thread has answered your question. The only person posting 'a load of spin' is you.

Various posters have answered everything you have asked. They've provided evidence and sources to back this up. But you clearly don't like these answers so try to move the goalposts.

    It's really, really odd.

It's been answered both in the comments and in the poll.

    Are you ok?

Apologies for assuming you voted Tory, but as you’re swallowing their lies, I find it odd you didn’t.
You’ve clearly not read my or several other previous answers though.
There’s no way we’d still be in the EU! It’s not up for question, the Labour manifesto clearly stated it, and Corbyn definitely was anti EU.

However, a Labour leave would have left us in the single market, unlike the current shi tshow, upside a better economy, downside UKIP would still be relevant and a cause for concern.

But - and I have no idea why you’re not getting this. We didn’t need to leave the EU to have a successful vaccine rollout. That’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. It might not be a fact that the government or press acknowledge, but it is an actual matter of fact.

And Labour government’s have always been supporters of NATO, it’s not even a question. Corbyn is a bit closet anti nato, but in government he’d have toed the line as advised by his chiefs of staff.

completely free of spin, that’s a factual assessment of the points you’ve raised.

I suspect, behind your question, you have some prejudice that’s stopping you reading the facts posted by plenty above.

    Very well thankyou.

OK then sifting through all the text above under Labour and remaining in the EU we would have delivered quicker and better in the Covid fight and Russia would be no problem to us.

Is that right if so I can close the poll and thread. Even though the poll is showing 60 - 40 which on a Barnsley forum I would have expected a much bigger gap.

Thankyou for your responses and they are probably the clearest ones that have been posted.
My questions are genuinely out of interest and due to a lack of political understanding on my part.

    Jeez.
Who (other than you) has mentioned staying in the EU?
    It wasn’t a possibility.
It also had no bearing on our vaccine rollout anyway, so it’s a red herring on two counts. They’re both facts.

And whilst the ‘vocal’ members of this forum are well to the left. We all know that nowhere is 100% Labour.
In fact a 3:2 majority is actually about mathematically correct for a northern working class Labour constituency.

I’m troubled by your lack of understanding of these basic issues.

Not sure where you got that "Russia would be no problem to us"?

I'll talk all day with people who enter into a discussion in the right spirit, but you don't seem to be, and considering that this is your thread it leads me to think you're just trolling, so I'm out.

    Have a great day.

I think this is the most depressing poll I've ever seen on here. 48 Tory sympathisers. 48 who can only be driven by bigotry or flagrant self interest.
Sad. And why the world is in such a sorry mess.

I think you are both @RedVesp @Donny-Red reading too much in to, overthinking and overreacting to simple basic questions which I had a genuine interest in.like you have both said leave it at that and have a brill day and hope for a super reds win.

That's not correct, or perhaps better to say, at least needs qualification, I've been party to the figures throughout all this through my day job, the UK double vaccinated virtually all its most at risk groups faster than almost anywhere in the world...certainly Europe, where we appear to have been overtaken is overall percentages, the reason being we have a sizeable number of groups who are resisting vaccination ...we have suffered no real shortages of vaccine and have a vaccine delivery network that outstrips comfortably the demand. The simple fact is you can't force people to take the vaccine, no matter how much you have available.

Im definitely getting the impression you're intentionally trying to stir the pot by creating threads about emotive/divisive subjects.

He is in awe of his masters and so is creating polls and threads in order to shout down any dissenters. I believe he made his recent thread pointing out at great length that he has no interest or opinion on things just so that he could claim impartiality whilst making these subsequent threads where he is extremely biased. He backs Boris to the hilt and backs Conway just as much and these threads are nothing but his platform to argue with anyone who doesn't. This one in particular he is using to prove that he isn't alone in his feelings
