You're the first person I've heard say that. We were also vocal at Luton until the players stopped putting any effort in - which is fair enough.
@Gegenpresser thought they all put a good shift in that day and according to himhe knows more about football than most of us .
I was at Luton, it had the feeling of a non league clash. You only have to look amongst the forums, social media etc to see our fans are not rated by anyone. I think the poll on the football community had us rated bottom level on points with Reading. Compare 2 thousand barnsley fans with 2 thousand Leeds, Wednesday, Stoke etc. you get 300 at the back singing away, 700 infront moaning that 300’are singing and the other thousand sat at the front screaming at everyone else to SIIIII’DARRRNNN.
Why would people at the front tell folk at the back to sit down? You're just talking utter ****** Can only assume you don't go. Take Huddersfield - everyone was standing the whole way through.
I'd put most of this down to the songs those 700 sing. You're not going to get 50% plus singing the sarcastic songs that make fun of the players. Nor was the majority interested in singing about Conway Out. Whenever the songs changed to something more positive, more people joined in.
I wasn't standing, but I was at the front so didn't tell anyone to sit down!! Bit sad that the most popular songs were the ones from our promotion season though!
Course not. I’ll give you some examples, City away. I wasn’t bothered about going at first so I missed out on tickets, ended up with a ticket in the home end. My mates afterwards were buzzing saying the atmosphere was amazing. In actual fact it was *****. Same for Blackpool this season, I was in the box for that game. I’m not knocking the numbers, I’m just saying vocally? Our fans are *****.
We've not got going yet but I wouldn't say disappointing. Our final ball and decision making (again) is pretty poor though. Every move down the right has broken down with Brittain. We're also wasting Morris up front as the lone striker. Just not his game no matter how hard he tries and works. This side with Woodrow up front, Morris dropping back, and Style where Palmer is, would be a huge improvement overall. You could say Quina is believing the hype today.
Is there anything more frustrating in football than the pass behind the man? It kills the fluidity of an attack.
Amazed Waghorn didn't go down for a penalty. He's the biggest cheat going and Anderson was wrong side.
