You say that, but he played in a very similar style during his time at Rangers and he also played a longer ball style under Mick at Ipswich and worked well. Having said that he’s added a few years on since then. I keep thinking we lack a vocal point up top but we don’t, I’m wrong. We just opt to not use it in the correct manner. We need to mix it up abit, it’s repeat and fail for 90 minutes.
We need to play balls foreward quicker, too many times we take an extra touch and end up going backwards or sideways.
Not Quina's day today. I'd be taking him off for Cole and putting Morris wide left to get him involved a lot more. Problem is that's the only positive change available to us so once we make it our options off the bench are seriously light. Will be like for like, such as Wolfe or Benson for Palmer. Not much else available to us today frustratingly.
Need to get a grip not in it this half. Reminds me of Luton. Decent first half and not in the game second half
The work rate required from playing under Big Mick is very different to being asked to play a high pressing game like under Val. What he was capable of on that front a number of years ago is very different to today. I know he's never been the fittest/best looking but right now he gives hope to us all that there's still a chance we can put a professional shirt on physique wise.
This Radio Sheffield commentator is clueless. He's clearly not watched Barnsley all season and has done bugger all prep work.
Coventry have made 320 successful passes, weve only made 180 successful passes. We've only attempted 4 shots all game and none have been on target. They've had 6 on target and 6 off target.
What do the people complaining about the vocal support from our fans expect we've won 3 games all season and are about as exciting to watch as a dead slug. Sing!! I could cry
Were ***** have been all season last week was a flash in the pan. We try play a passing game that were not good enough to do.
