Paul Ince in temporary charge. https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/20...mpany-with-veljko-paunovi--by-mutual-consent/
Wow! Seemed like the missing piece was their goal scorer coming back so does seem odd timing. Reckon they'll be in for Marcus Schopp!?
Unfortunately I think we’re stuck with Poya now for a while, they’re going to look at it as a pointless sacking as we’re as good as relegated, I reckon they’ll see what he can do next season,
I think it will come down to the money ,as always.. When Conway realizes that most of the good people of Barnsley won't come down to Oakwell to be served up any old s'h1te. When next season's ST tin is rattling under people's noises and there's very little going in, Conway will have his hand forced..
That’s the debate I suppose because us and Peterborough needs miracles really. I think Derby are better than Reading and a manager change won’t have too much impact on that, in my opinion.
Don't waste your breath, pal. Conway doesn't give a rat's ass about what we the fans think. He'll just continue to do things his way to meet his objectives (and make money for himself & Chien). Football is of little or no interest to him!
Reading would be in worse ***** than us off the pitch if they drop living beyond their means for years in plenty of debt.
But aren't they changing the FFP rules so that only mild cheating doesn't really count, or if you're a "name" club it doesn't count or if you've got one of them fit and proper persons in charge that they've already vetted, then it don't count either. Or summat.
How is it a pointless sacking. Get the right person in now to stand a chance of bouncing back from league 1 next season
I never said I personally think it’s a pointless sacking, I said they’ll probably look at it as a pointless sacking because we’re all but relegated and they won’t want to pay compensation so they might see what he can do in league 1, if it was me he’d be gone today.
