    Are they any worse off then say Rotherham who could afford his fee when he was probably asking for more than he would want this far down the line?

    Can you show me any links to any team anywhere where a out of work manager says he wants to manage a team where there is a current manager in place

    I think he would have been wanting less at that time, it was the first time in Warnock's career he hadn't had any work for a substantial length of time, he was sacked at Leeds in 2013, sacked at Palace in 2014 and had no other work for 18 months apart from a 1 month caretaker job for QPR, he took the Rotherham job in February 2016 until the end of the season, but although Tony Stewart wanted to keep him they couldn't pay the full rate and set on Alan Stubbs...Warnock moved to Cardiff.

    Like already said rotherham had warnock and he kept them up. Problem with us is our owners want us to believe that every championship experienced manager wanted 1.5million a year so the only other alternative is to hire European head coaches from leagues so bad they have to clear cattle off the field before the game kicks off.
