Probably then to to be replaced by similar or military madman. Like the Tory’s here, they always have someone even worse in reserve
Just throwing this out there but wonder what plans are in place to look at staging an assassination of Putin, making it look like it was carried out by supporters of a political opponent in Russia.
Hopefully very advanced, maybe by a tourist visiting cathedrals in the area
I'm sure when all the civilians have been killed they'll all be able to have a natter over a mug of hot coco in their fallout shelter.
Hopefully very advanced, maybe by a tourist visiting cathedrals in the area
Basildon Bond is on his way over as we speak.
Maybe not. But it's interesting that how he acted towards China is now being giving much more credence as a solid strategy. The West feels weak politically. Finding a balance of hot-headed arrogance vs. weakness I guess.
We are weak. The Russians have invaded Ukraine and hold all the aces. If we react we've declared nuclear Armageddon. Hence we can't and won't act.
I really worry what the future holds for my beautiful, innocent grandchildren in a world run by ignorant, intolerant, evil politicians.
tbh mate I know there’s a lot of black humour going on, but I’m worried about the generation before that too !
They're not at 70 % now as far as I know, they would have if Nordstream2 would have been up and running.... but they certainly need a serious energy rethink.
I wish you'd stop quoting Trump propaganda BBC News - Trump: How much of Germany's gas comes from Russia? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-44794688
That article is four years out of date... its quoting a figure using Nordstream2 as the expected outcome.
NATO needs to be very careful here. Ukraine isn't actually a member, so if NATO is seen by the russians as piling in outside of NATO territory, then I guess that opens up any scenario anyone can think off. However, if Russia steps into NATO territory, I would expect a full scale WW3 to start. Otherwise NATO would be worth nothing but hot air
And to think, there was a time that we had a choice, between... Austerity, a weakened and underfunded healthcare system, a weakened and underfunded military, Russian money and influence in our politics, increased nationalism, investigations into Russian interference in Elections being swept under the carpet, Brexit. All leading to us being woefully underprepared for a pandemic and completely impotent when it comes to foreign affairs. or... Chaos with Ed Milliband.
Which was my main point. I said 'something like' because I wasn't sure if it had hit 70% yet but knew it was far higher than it should be.
Not sure what you're showing me here or wishing for? I didn't realise the pipeline hadn't gone live yet (thought I'd read somewhere a few weeks ago it was due to open in Q2 this year). Which would then make the energy allocation much closer to being correct. My main point was the obscene money being spent with Russia and regardless of whether there's a fact check on this particular point or not, I was asking why we hear nothing even similar from other Western leaders.
