Thought the plane carrying the banner was going to have that on it… instead it was a crackpot anti vaxxer
Still to come: Derby away Reading at home Peterborough at home Time to forget the "Conway Out!" campaign and concentrate on backing the team!
That's a silly post, of course folk will back the team. Doesn't change anything about Conway though in my eyes.
Up until the last few games when we have been winning we havent backed our team or our coach. If we stay up and have a top half season next year no one will be chanting Conway out. I have received so much stick over the last few weeks for saying we need to support our team, I am still quite put out by it and when I see the crowd and the attendence grow and atmosphere improve it makes me feel even more justified about the comments I made and how fickle our fans are. They are brilliant when we are winning and embarrassing when we are not.
There’s no contradiction between wanting the team to win (part of the genes) and wanting the owners out (years of mismanagement). Results, good or bad, won’t change that for me.
Still not happy with the owners but the team have given us hope so lets back them and forget the owners for now. Hopefully the gret escape is on.
I'll not go on and on promise this will be my last post on the subject but I have been to all the same home games and a good number of away games as you will have been to and its very clear what i have seen thats why I stood up and posted about it on here. Ive also read on here some dreadful posts so Im not going to buy in or accept the big love in thats going on now we have won a few games. Its pathetic and small minded after whats been said and done.
I agree with you but if you think its been bad on bbs then you want to read some of the posts on Tykes Mad you would go bananas.
Still not happy with the owners and their policies, but why would any fan not want to get behind their team when they are playing good football.? Was today not what the we as fans have been wanting? Our team to actually have a go, shoot and battle, who is to say the protests haven’t actually had an effect on todays tactics?
Me. You must be off your head to think otherwise. Imagine the situation. Poya: “some people are congregating towards the end of the ponty- let’s now try to score more than the opposition. Glad they reminded us to try that!” Protest was tin pot/non-existent as far as I could see at the last home game. A noisy minority on social media. I’m not saying the owners are objectively good or bad but remember no one was against the ownership model when we were winning. For me the owners are running us about how I would like us to. Not signing old timers who are after one last pay cheque, for every Luton there’s another Matt Mills etc. I think a lot of the people who espouse views about how they want us to be self sustainable don’t like the way it might look. And realistically these owners are not yet net positive out of owning us. So are they greedy ******** - yes. But they surely haven’t made any money yet and. what the alternative is, I don’t know. Maybe that gobby actor from Twitter can tell us? Or maybe his NDA won’t allow.
For what it’s worth. I didn’t don’t Conway out! But I still want every single one of those in charge to be up the road!
The owners aren't perfect. Let them speak and they need to soon but they aren't what people have made out.
For every Domingos Quina there's a Malik wilks or a romal Palmer or a josh Benson or a Jacob mellis or a Emmanuel frimpong or a mamadou thiam or a Cole Kpekawa etc etc Age doesn't define a players willingness to give it their all, their personality does.
I was thinking more about the constant complaints about negative tactics and lack of shots and a manager presumably wanting to hold onto his job, never mentioned a load of what you are on about. Off my head ,seriously? You want to go down that route?, just because I have different view!
