Probably getting some practice in trying to shut up shop. Cos come Setday, we’ll be camped in our half from kick off. There’s a few times this season when I thought we’d get a reight hammering, but this weekend I reckon there’s a realistic chance of that happening. Fulham stuck 5 past Swansea toneet.

 

Very disappointing to see us breaking quickly towards the end and then stopping to go backwards when 3 on 2, thought we could have got another while they were committing men forward.

 

We’ll beat Fulham and lose to Bristol City. ‘‘Twas ever thus.

Cole's effort was absolutely pathetic. As a defender one of the things I hate most is a player, especially a striker, just stood waiting for the ball.

The fact that he thought he could do that, in extra time, on the edge of our box, is utterly criminal.

Blind rage here when that went in.

 

If he’d shown a quarter of the desire of Morris he wins that ball .

 

He'd be out of his depth in a car park puddle, fails to reach the abysmal standards he sets himself.

 

Hang on a second. The team had resolutely defended until that waste of time failed in his basic job.

 

Somebody needs to invent another word to describe our defending because naive just doesn’t get close!

 

Had a feeling we would lose tonight...so a bonus in that respect but we were poor.
We just couldn't get our foot on the ball and pass with enough conviction and move the ball through the phases.
A very average side Stoke who haven't won a game in 6 but deserved their point.
Can't be arsed to go on about the ref on the penalty....we created little....draw about right.

 

I know what you’re saying but the defending (or lack of) for their goal was disgraceful for someone with relatively fresh legs.

 

Rubbish, he's hardly an integral part of what's been a **** team all season. Far bigger names to be had for whipping boy than him in my opinion.

 

Err no, whipping boys are when they are unfairly blamed for things.
Cole apart from an odd goal has looked idle and ineffective throughout and that pathetic ‘challenge’ cost us 3 points tonight was the final straw for me!

How many blatant **** ups have we made to give goals away this season? Mads at Forrest for a start can't remember who at Birmingham but yeah Cole should never play again.

 

Swansea did have a player sent off in the first half, and all the goals came after that, but yeah, we just need to keep the score respectable to protect our goal difference.

 

Ans yet someone thought it would be a good idea to give him a 4 or 5 year deal last summer!!
