Not sure we even need to do that TBH. All we got to do is better Readings results by one win and beat them.
Reading have Stoke, Cardiff and Swansea at home, all very winnable. As is Hull away. Can see them getting to 40 points quite easily. I reckon we need 5 wins (including Reading) and a couple of draws from 11 games. It's not going to happen.
If I remember right, it was around the time England beat San Marino 10-0, and many were predicting a similar scoreline. Obviously, they're one of 3 teams who have beaten us by 3 goals this season. We've certainly improved since then, and they don't appear to be as free scoring as they were a couple of months ago. I don't think we'll get anything from the game tomorrow, but I don't think we'll be blown away either.
I would have been hopeful had we taken 3 points from Stoke. I think that was a missed opportunity, considering how few games we have left to play. Derby will get the mid-table form they need in order to catch Reading before we can Derby I reckon.
As long as it's a routine defeat and not a gutting injury time one. I'm really not bothered at all about tomorrow to the extent that I'm not that bothered about watching it. (Going bowling).
Game Plan: Keep it 0-0 for as long as possible, then nick a goal. This way we only have to defend a lead and fall back to the 18-yard line for a short time.
Could I bump into Kelly Brook tonight in Chennels and take her back to mine for a night if pleasure ?
Reading’s next three are Forest, Blackburn and Bournemouth. I don’t think Reading get more than a point from those. And I think we might get three. So then it’s down to three points, the gap, when we play them. Ridiculous that we are still even able to talk about staying up.
