I've never watched it, but I find it hard to believe that any show featuring blokes in flat caps could ever be regarded as boring.
First 2 series were the better ones after that it began its decline into tedium. Unnecessary series and a big hole following the death of Polly Gray (Helen McCrory)
Got to agree... it's absolute crap so far!!! Anyone seen Taboo? Er indoors reckons they're doing a follow up to it
They've been planning it for a while I think, they've just struggled to find time in Tom Hardy's schedule to film it from what I've read.
I've not seen last night's episode (usually watch it on a Monday), but it has been a slow one so far. I do think it peaked at the end of series 2. The problem I've had with the last 2 series is, they made Oswald Moseley the villain. He didn't die in real life until 1980, so he's clearly not going to die in the series. So you see the only way out being the death of Tommy Shelby. But they've announced that they're making a Peaky Blinders film set around the 2nd world war. So they're not going to kill Tommy off either. So I'm struggling to fathom the point to the last 2 series really. Even his beef with Michael can only end in 1 way.
I am enjoying it although the story line is very deep ,but I think the quality of the acting is excellent & now you have got Stephen Graham included which makes it even more watchable .
I tried watching season 1 about 2 years ago and gave up after about 4 episodes, couldn't understand what all the fuss was about then. Seemed like a Brummie version of Eastenders
It's turned into a bit of a poorly written mess a couple of series ago, there were plot holes you could drive a bus through
