Gericault Roque and Gaelic Warrior let me down yesterday. I had two winners Constitution Hill and Stattler. Returned £48 for my efforts.

Steve I find the Irish hosses like rain more than British hosses.

It's frightening how many Irish horses have come over and taken over the betting for the big races. Apart from Bravemansgame. I found it hard to pick a U.K horse other than in the plodding handicap.

All E/W. Using half my £312 winnings from yesterday.

I don’t follow racing at all. I only ever bet during Cheltenham and Aintree. I set myself £20 to play with through the week and usually pick a horse based on its name. Yesterday was as good a day as I’ve had in years.

I have been to Donny for a day out a few times and enjoyed that too. But I know less than nowt about horses.

Not allowed to bet on football.

Joyeux Machin in the 5.30. Only reason I picked it. Mad Mel.

Brazil earned me over £100 yesterday.

They've watered overnight and now it's pissed it down all day. Was at work this morning, and didn't realise. I've picked a load of good ground horses after yesterday, so the clerk of the course and get in the bin.

It also means bad news for Tiger Roll.

Having said that, the rain softened ground probably saved the life of Journey With Me.

The jockeys were absolutely muddied up top to bottom, looks a bit of a mud bath.

And now Bravemansgame is a non runner.

Clerk of the course can bypass the bin and get in the sea now.

    What a complete bell end.

At least i can whang a fiver on Farouk D'alene now who'll love the ground.

Quite funny this to be honest.

    Main selection non runner.

Horse I then back falls at the second last when challenging the winner.

I'm on Gowel Road and The Shunter in the next, so avoid those two as they'll probably nip for a pint in the Guiness Village instead of going up the home straight.
