I think what was clear when we played Swansea was, they have a lot of possession, but do very little with it. It wasn't until we became a little impatient, and ultimately sloppy, that they found a way through us. Of course, we never get anything at the Liberty, so expect a defeat in a few weeks.
Will be interesting to see how Poya approaches it when we go there. Try to press them and force a mistake, or hope to frustrate them. Can see a case for either tbh
I think he opted for the latter at Oakwell, and to be honest it worked for a good 75 minutes, although we never looked like scoring. We're certainly a different team now though. We've a lot more creativity in the side, so maybe he'll opt for more of a high press.
Nice to see Swansea watch that one, but just like the game at oakwell they’re awful to watch them. Sounds ridiculous to say when there was 5 goals, but Swansea suck the life out of a football game. Couldn’t watch that every week myself.
Been watching an online stream of this game. P/boro were not very good at all which made Swansea appear that much better ! It certainly made our win last night a great result.
Maybe. I speak to quite a few Blues fans and they're by no means confident. Edit: Just seen the odds on the other thread and stuck a tenner on!
