Man City v Liverpool. No trains are running to Euston from the North West over the bank holiday. You'd think the 'logistics' of that decision would have been given a tad more thought.
I'm sure the owners plan on making it to an F.A Cup Semi - Final someday. Just need to perfect the flatbreads and non alcoholic lager and make sure we're well stocked up on tampons first.
I think they should revert back to neutral grounds and sack Wembley off except for the final... Then again, money talks where the FA is concerned
Two teams close together and both having to commute down at a time where for fans petrol is sky high and Covid still an issue. Should have been played at the likes of Goodison or Old Trafford like in the good old days.
Clearly still paying off the construction costs but it does take the shine off the final being at Wembley. I can't be arsed with it anymore, it has lost its magic.
I honestly think that moving the semi's to Wembley has been the biggest killer for the FA cup. Even bigger than the 'big teams' focusing on champions League
Haven't watched the FA Cup final for donkey years, it definitely should be final at Wembley and not the semi's.
On the weekend of the Challenge cup final a few years ago there we no trains into KX or St Pancras from the north. It’s not like it’s difficult to imagine there’d be thousands of rugby fans travelling from the north for that.
Common sense would have it at Old Trafford and I’m sure both sets of fans would take great pleasure in it being there too. Unfortunately common sense and the FA are very rarely in the same sentence.
fa should have rethought the semi final dates the planning for railworks is in place a lot longer time than the football mate
Could have had it at Oakwell. Flog a few more flatbreads and a nice little earner for Conway. We could magically make the north end of the West Stand available too
I agree. Although They wouldn’t have to if they didn’t have this stupid thing of playing semi finals there in the first place. The FA Cup was the best part of footy when I was a kid, but like seemingly everything the FA touches it has turned to *****.
