    Besiktas won their league last season, same points but their goal difference was +45, and second place Galatasaray had +44. This season both struggling, Besiktas in 8th place, 24 points from top. Galatasaray in 15th, only 9 points above relegation zone with 10 games left to play.... What on earth has happened over there this season!?

    I think it'll actually be a decent move for Val. If he gets them top 4 again next season, think a lot of decently sized European clubs will be looking at him. They're only 3 points of 4th as it stands, but lots of clubs in the mix. Hope he does well for himself.

    Alternatively, it could well be the starts of a slide back into obscurity.

    Either way, good luck to him. I'll not be keeping an eye on their results though.
