Not bullying him, just pointing out that he’s likely to be in the squad again. Personally, I don’t think he’s particularly suitable for the role that he’s been asked to do when coming on for Wolfe. Needs someone with a bit more physicality.

it’s ok. Oakwell always needs someone to criticise. It’s always been the way. And if the are young inexperienced and come through the Academy even bett

it’s ok. Oakwell always needs someone to criticise. It’s always been the way. And if the are young inexperienced and come through the Academy even better. I think of it as the ‘Nicky Eaden’ syndrome. Couple of bad games or a loss in form and no doubt Wolfe will be the next victim.

Palmer, hopefully like Benson just needs to play alongside someone with experience. He was absolutely fine when he played with Mowatt.

Palmer doesn't even try. That's the problem. We are fighting for it lives and he doesn't put any effort in.

The 'if they've come through the academy' thing is often repeated but is completely false too. Evidence to suggest it's false is that everytime someone suggests it they have to use Nicky eaden as an example. A player from a quarter of a century ago

So any criticism is now bullying is it..? That's pathetic.
The far left hate actual debate, unless it comes within their own narrow minded parameters.
There's a dozen or so on here that have activity killed this site..

As long as they have Swift available it’s a forgone conclusion sadly. And we just know Juao will score a poxy goal.

You must not have watched the last third of last season then, he was poor then and Mowatt played alongside him then

I’m not sure that having Alex Mowatt in the team would’ve made him stronger in his attempted challenges in his last couple of games?

He was also much higher up the pitch last season, due to how Ismael set us up.

If Wolfe has to come off after 60/70 mins next week, would you be confident in Palmer doing that job?

Terrell Thomas, a player we were linked with in the summer. Quite an odd one really.

He turned down a new deal at Wimbledon due to attracting interest from championship sides, but then signed a 1 year deal with Crewe. Despite playing regularly for them, his contract was terminated in January.

I’m not sure about bullying, it’s just criticism plain and simple. Fans have always criticised players and those with a perceived lack of effort usually end up being a target. I’m afraid Palmer’s effort levels this season have been very poor and he’s brought a lot of it on himself.
