This being reported on Asianews.net Ukraine crisis: Beijing halts energy deal with Moscow Sinopec stops a US$ 500 million project with a Russian petrochemical company. China fears secondary sanctions from the US and its allies if it helps the Kremlin. Nothing indicates that Beijing is backing Putin in his Ukrainian campaign.
That sounds like many many letters that were sent back to family from various soldiers from different factions during ww1 and 2.
Studies of the medals awarded to dead Russian soldiers from the first 2 weeks of the war (by looking at issue numbers from the log books) suggests deaths were about 5,000. https://t.co/iLdVHOwbqb
Some are 'clearly up for it' though. Anyone seen the sickening video shot from a drone of a civilian convoy of several cars trying to escape being ambushed and shot at by a tank crew. They turned back a few hundred metres short of the tank (clearly showing the Russian Z markings but one car got hit and stalled. The driver, a man in civvie, then s got out hands held high and moved clear of the car and apparently screamed that there were children in the vehicle. Seconds later they shot him dead. A woman in the car was also killed (unclear if it was his wife). Another woman and child in the car were removed and marched off and later released. He was obviously not military or any threat to the tank crew. Without doubt we witnessed a war crime. The shooter clearly had the white leg marking of the Russian soldiers. Scum!!
The Sunday Times today carries the full story of this. The russians took an airport on the outskirts of kherkov. Parked up some helicopters and fuel trucks. The Ukranians shelled it. For the next six days the russians kept sending in more helicopters which the astounded ukranians gleefully shelled, having the coordinates programmed in. On the sixth day a general was sent to see what was going on and he was killed. They then had a day off but then for the following four days kept sending more helicopters, all of which were shelled and resulted in the general you mentioned being dispatched to see what was going on and you guessed it, he died in the bombardment. Apparently, the russian military will not dare disobey an order no matter how absurd
It would be comedy gold except the poor sods who are considered cannon fodder by the Russian military elite (You only have to watch the early scenes in 'Enemy at the gates) to know things haven't really changed in the Russian /Soviet miliary approach to Warfa....err... ' Special Military action 'since 1940.
Apparently there's a large gap in officer rankings, at least in terms of training and actual leadership, leaving Generals etc little choice to go to the front and see what's happening.
Funnily enough, this article touches in it. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/a...r-foreign-fighters-ukraine-russia-war/627604/
Just being reported by #bellingcat that Roman Abramovich suffered a possible nerve agent poisoning a few weeks ago.
Ironic that Vladimir who loves prancing about on horses with his shirt off, holding AK47s with his shirt off and looking macho always goes to the weapon historically attached to women. Perhaps he protests a bit too much about the alpha male image the murdering piece of s**t.
Fairly sure the village idiots will be along shortly to point out this is the false flag event they warned us about.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/18094883/russian-sanctions-must-not-be-lifted/ Well said The Sun. Even if Russia completely left Ukraine, all sanctions should still stay in place. For Russia to be welcomed back by the west they would need to at the very least get shut of Putin.
