And we can't complain, we showed nowt after we scored. Even after they scored there was no urgency or desire, despite a draw not being much better than a loss. We didn't have the heart or legs for it. Shocking.
Perhaps. But the people running the club are the ones who should be held accountable. Utter shambles, and we deserve so much better then this.
I really hope we stay up. But we have looked like relegation fodder from the first week of the season. We have had the odd moments but generally we have been consistent in our relegation type performances. We would be gone now if it weren't for the point deductions. Sad state of affairs.
Whilst it's not over until it's over, I do agree with you. You can't win just two games in the first half of the season and expect to stay up. My bigger concern is that we will need some robust and pragmatic re-building over the summer and I am not convinced that the current board and coaching staff will be able to do this. We do have the possibility of some tried and tested players such as Kane, Aitchison, Thomas and Miller coming back with good lower league experience under their belts and we should get a decent fee for Helik and Styles at least. We can't afford to squander the cash on immature European players, but ones who have been properly scouted and will fit into the template which the coach wants to play. Another European coach and a board trying to govern by proxy and I think we would struggle even at League One level.
Yep, really can't see us clawing our way to safety. That second half was as bad as I've seen us play this season. Embarrassing really, should have been building on what we accomplished, instead we get this rubbish.
Not a cat in hells chance of this lot getting us out of this no leadership on or off the field, it's like watching a film that you've many times the only surprise was they didn't score a winner
TBH we've been pants all season.. apart from maybe half a dozen games .. and don't deserve to stay up. We'll huff n puff over the next few games, but like today Reading will have enough to avoid the drop.
I think we will go down too. BUT we will not finish below Derby or Peterboro. Looking at the remaing games for us and Reading it's still a possibility to stay up.
Why do we deserve much better than this, what do we do to deserve better than being in the bottom of the championship. Do we sell out each week, do we cheer our team on for the full 90mins, are we like a 12th man, is it intimidating to come to Oakwell, are the stands a see of red. No we get what we deserve.
Crap today. Bassi and quina passengers this aft but Poya clearly doesnt trust Palmer or Benson so cant change it the weeks they struggle. I dont trust Benson or Palmer either but lack of options today cost us big time....
If I sat down and made a list of all the things that could have been improved since we lost to Swansea in the playoffs, I'm not sure the fans would make the top 100.
