I thought he had a decent game today after his shocking performances all season yet i still keep seeing him get stick on Twitter about today Am i only one who thought he had a okay game
Yes. He gave ball away for first goal. Gave it away later. Contributed little. Had one or two small moments but not what i would say a ‘good game’
Playing for a contract. No doubt his agent will have told him no club better than where he is now have made an enquiry. I hope we don't fall for it because as soon as the contract was signed he will go back to lazy and heart of a pea.
Not a fan but he wasn't the worst performer today. Wolfe was significantly poorer after replacing him, for a start.
Given a straight choice between him and Styles I’d choose Palmer. Someone please remind me what the Bury Barm Cake has to offer???
I thought both Palmer & Styles played well today whilst Bassi somehow managed to stay on which baffled me , minds you his substitutions regularly baffle me .
Thought he was awful and, as usual, made telling mistakes where it matters. Not his fault he keeps getting picked though. And not even Asbaghi's fault that there are no experienced centre midfield players at the club.
Lost out in a challenge in midfield yet again that lead to Peterborough’s first goal but he’s been doing that all season and still getting picked.
He offers an immediate need to get it on his left foot. Which when he's playing on the right, up the pitch too, renders him largely useless. He hasn't sufficient skill or pace to do much from there. His shooting has gone way downhill - you can't blame the coach for that. Styles cracked a few in from the left side in recent seasons. When played further back. I don't understand it. Today he's playing in front of Brittain on the right. Brittain is a sort of a winger (if anything) and can cross from the right. Styles never gets to the byline, and always cuts in and does nothing. Madness.
He put effort in for the first 15 minutes then went into hiding and offered nothing at either end. Bottled it as usual when it mattered.
First 20 minutes, he looked like he was playing for a contract. He went missing shortly after and hasn't been seen since.
For the most part he had a good game but even today he frustrated me. Put some good tackles in but then had a brain fart trying to control the ball rather than clear it in the build up to Peterborough’s first goal.
Probably a lot to a club in the championship next season. We've got top paid senior players (Woodrow for one) that have contributed nothing this season, I'd rather aim frustration at them than a young lad that's just got international recognition and will be one of our easiest players to sell.
I thought he was playing better than usual, but he lost the ball before the first goal, and midfielders just can't afford to do that. Some promising play by us, without scoring, followed by a bad mistake leading to a goal, has become a recurrent theme this season.
Been poor for most of the season. I'd let him go because he has been a liability at times this season.
