Then I apologise as it wasn’t my intention to frustrate. I was merely speaking from my own personal perspective.
And there is the problem. People from within the club (or affiliated organizations such as the BFCST) need to understand that their words carry weight and consequence. Words like "I know there's a brighter future ahead" and "I think there's better news for the club in the not to distant future" are really potent when you're talking to die-hard fans of a club that is publicly having its heart and soul wrenched out through its arsehole. Maybe it's better not said?
You do a great job under difficult circumstances - it must be difficult being so poistive and upbeat after a difficult season. Sure, orared speaks for many of us on here
Spent 1/2 hour or so yesterday with Hicksy before, during and just after HT cleaning the Redfearns fanzone van. It's the volunteers and employees that are involved day to day that I totally appreciate and admire. That's why I'll give my time. It's not for the players, management or owners it's for the folk who've been there long before the aforementioned and will be there for a long time afterwards. That's what football is all about. It's just a shame that there's an ever growing group of people infiltrating the game who Im sure just don't (or want to) get it ! Keep up the good work. You know who you are.
