POYA ASBGAHI ON TERRIERS TRIP Interviews Poya Asbaghi spoke to the local press ahead of our clash with Huddersfield Town on Friday evening. Continue reading on the official site...
Well done Poya. I was really looking forward to this match when the fixtures came out. Us with one of our best ever finishes playing away towards the end of the season against my hometown club and I cannot even be bothered going and feel sad about it. I never miss us playing there. I can't remember the last time. Not sure yet if I will even bother watching it on TV. Gonna have to hibernate after tomorrow night for all the HAHAHA we relegated you I will get.
Be on a flight to Sweden at about 23:00 tomorrow night, bless him. Wish him no ill will at all, but it was an absolutely mental appointment to start with; even then, he should have been sacked during that awful start - especially given the fact that Colin would have taken the job (and almost certainly have kept us up.)
Nope that was Asbahgi going all out for 3 points I'd hate to see a game where he's playing for a draw
Thing i will always remember about poya is ive never seen a head coach take a lead so many times and then try defend it and the whole squad get deeper and deeper and.... then concede all confidence and momentum gone. Or his reluctance to commit bodies forward in attack negative stuff.
Just read his comments in today's Chronicle under heading nim and Barnsley have to dance really well to continue. Well i for one don't want him to continue. I am more convinced than ever he is not the right person to be in charge there is nothing but sh**e comes out of his mouth. He has not got a clue
Asbaghi should have gone after Monday all the fans know we are down so why not get a replacement MANAGER not a head coach before end of season so he can have a say in the comings and goings in the summer. But then again thats too difficult for our owners to understand . Honestly i wish i was as thick as them , i might be a millionaire
