This is remarkable. The amount of sightings from such a small amount of people. Extrapolate that across the population and that's a $hit load. Yet not a single event has been documented. Astonishing.
https://www.hauntedhappenings.co.uk/poltergeist-house-30-east-drive/ See what I mean about it being worth more haunted than not...
Now that would be scary, how long you lay there, was he stairing at you, smiling any threat ? Just being nosey dek.
Nope. I must say though, if I was a demon in the most haunted house in England, I think I'd want to do more than switch the odd light on and off and knock a few pots off tables. Must be very frustrating for it. I wonder if it's seen The Ring, or Grudge?
Cold reading, that's the explanation. Spiratualists and mediums are utter scum who exploit the emotionally vulnerable for profit.
1993, bloke I worked with, Colin, quiet fella, bit of a loner, about my dad's age, lost his Gran. He was close, she was v old, she had raised him and he was pretty devastated. 3 year before, I had a car crash. Fairly bad but apart from a cricked neck I was ok. Car written off Back to 1993, Colin takes me to one side. Wants to go see a credible medium in Skipton at a Spiritualist church. Feels she he will hear from his Gran. Wants moral support, and whatever he is told, can we keep it between ourselves . I agree to go. Little old lady, harmless, not spooky, seems to put on a good show. Colin hears nowt. Lady points to me. Somebody wants to talk. I was white as a sheet and speechless, which is not good as you are supposed to be bold and receptive for the conversation to continue. Plucking up courage to answer, she said she had a lad on a motor bike wanting to pass a message. It meant nowt. At first. She said the night before my crash there had been bad news in the family. Sadly, it didn't ring any bells. Then, recalling my crash, the day after we lost the Gazza semi in Italia 90, I recalled a call from my sister telling me a 2nd cousin had died in a bike accident. To prove who it was, when I was struggling to think of a connection, she told me where the accident happened and that he was the 2nd of 3 brothers to die (his elder brother had died outside Odsal in 1986, hit by a car whilst being chased by Leeds fans, allegedly). So of course then it hit me. The 2 messages he had was that me and him lived lives in similar ways. Always in a rush, one of us was going to go. He said he had been a bit careless that night, though a court found a young car driver guilty of careless driving. Essentially, it was me or him. Secondly, there was something in life both me and him had always wanted. He wanted to watch over me til I got it? Children? I found out after that his girlfriend had miscarried at some point though they were only 19. I was scared, she had looked all others in the eye yet she couldn't look at me. For years I was convinced I was a gonner at any point. But also, living a working life that involved many thousands of miles and time away from home, at certain points when I was in a mad rush there has always been a silent message of 'slow down Andy' and whether that is down to him or my subconscious, fingers crossed it has worked so far. Later that night, one long engagement with an elderly lady left a message that her late husband loved her, was waiting for her, and would be with her until she joined him . A butterfly that had been hovering the church hall all night settled on the lady's lap. Colin heard nothing, but he was as good as his word and didn't speak much about it. The psychic wasn't a celebrity, and all I remember was that she had travelled on expenses from Morecambe. I have since seen Derek Acorah twice - scripted identical ****** with similar audience stooges and villains both times, at identical points. My mum got his book signed, and I asked him 2 things - why had I been so taken aback by my experience, and secondly, after his nonsense harem scarem answer, I asked who was watching over my shoulder as we spoke. He winked and said 'we all have someone watching over us'. The Morecambe lady knew Paul's name and place of death. I can not think of one clue I might have carried
I have always been fascinated by the supernatural, read quite a bit on it, I always try keep an objective mind and would love to be able to be able to prove things one way or another. I just find it a fascinating subject and would certainly not be naive enough enough to say we know everything about everything. Closest I got to anything was years ago, we stayed in a secluded holiday cottage that when we got there turned out to be an old converted nursing home. One night we were watching tv when I looked up to see our son waving at the window and laughing. When I asked him what he was doing he said he was waving back at ‘the old lady’, no way he had the understanding to understand about ghosts and things, despite there being zero chance of anybody wandering about I went out for a look and there was nothing!
Seem reasonable to me. Tbf the hosts are risking demonic possession, horrific death and eternal torture in Hell.
Always remember my first date with Laura. We met her Aunty She'll back at the County in Rotherham for a drink after we'd been to Meadowhall to watch a movie. As it happens She'll had met a bloke who claimed to be a medium. I'd have said he was more of an extra large but I digress. He told me that my grandfather was stood behind me in an Army uniform. I thought it was a load of ballax because I was sat against a back rest in a snug. So for him to be behind me would have just been daft. I knew it was 5hite because in 2011 there was a good chance of anybody's elderly relative being in one force or another. My Grandad Joe. ( Dad's dad) was a sergeant in the wages department in North Africa and into Italy. My Great Grandad George was in Burma and my Grandad Pat ( Mum's dad) was in the RAF clerical core during his National service.
the man is a scientist. he just speaks the truth. that said, he does also have a penchant for wrecking people's dreams with logic
That's just not true. The reflection of radiowaves off objects had been known since the late 19th century how do you think radio transmitters worked? The breakthrough for RADAR was the development of small shorter wavelength transmitters making it possible to move the transmitter to track moving objects.
