I know very little about Aitchison Loko but I've just checked his stats and he scores 1 goal in every 10 games. Is there something I'm missing? Not a sarky question. I'd genuinely like to be reassured as a few people seem to be putting him in our starting 11 next season.

He’s started 30+ games from wide/central midfield in the team that’s run away with the League Two title. His work has allowed their front two to notch 20 goals a piece. Decent enough credentials to step up a division higher for me.

Plus I rated him when we signed him and he’s ex Celtic, so a lot going for him.

Its my opinion. You may or may not agree that’s fine. We are allowed to see things differently.

Mads and Morris are the only players to score for us. Herbie Kane had scored a grand total of zero goals this season. 6 assists so again not exactly top table stuff

Absolutely. Which is why I asked what you disagreed with rather than say you were wrong or complacent.

Goals is definitely our Achilles heel and where recruitment needs to be focused on. Providing you get leadership qualities in the spine of the team somewhere - I think Kane and Wolfe could provide some of that if we sign someone to be marshalling the defence.

i just think it’ll get into a disagreement and I’m really trying to cut back on that (and just about to buy lots of records at Record Store day) so happy to leave it that you see things one way and I see things another.

I doubt it would but that sounds like a great day out.

I was just confused that you called my opinion out indirectly as complacent, suggested I was saying you couldn’t have an opinion, but hadn’t. And didn’t even know what yours was. It was like I’d missed one of your replies or something.

If we can keep Morris and Woodrow then goals won't be an issue. Marsh stays and then the question is do we want any of Vic, Schmidt, Cole, or Miller. Iseka goes, hopefully for cash.

In midfield I don't know how we sort it. Kane is probably the best starting option but is there too much bad blood there after the way we've treated him? Benson & Wolfe stay, Aitchison as an attacking midfielder, Moon as a defensive midfield player. ICD, Palmer and Hondermark probably get moved on.

Oduor plays at left back, Andersen and Halme in the centre, Williams at right back, but I wish we still had Sibbick. Kitching stays. Brittain gets moved on.

Collins, Helik, and Styles are sold, two current internationals should go for at least £3m each but will probably be more like two.

New owners for a start. Then a manager then clear a certain 75% of playing staff and renew

    I think the rebuild will depend on 3 things;

    1) how much costs will naturally go down, due to wage reductions, contracts expiring and loan returns (in and out)
    2) how much we can get in fees for Helik and Styles
    3) what we do about the numerous players, signed by Conway, that are on salaries not backed up by their ability. So, can we sell or loan out with salary contributions the likes of Oulare, Iseka, Thomas, Schmidt, Benson, Odour etc… for those we have to keep, can they step up and perform in league 1?

If these three can get us close to where we need to be, then any sales out Collins, Mads, Woodrow, Morris, Brittain can be a bit more selective, providing they don’t force a move.

Who ever's in charge and what ever players we have the team have got to have a proper pre season.I think fitness or a lack off cost us maybe at least 10 points.
