Does the CEO even recognise yet that we've been relegated?

That's the most disgusting thing for me. It has been coming and a statement apologising should have been waiting to go. It wasn't and hasn't happened because they do not give a ****

Also. Been on twitter this morning, the only player to say anything and apologise is a player that joined on loan at the end of January.

Nothing from the club captain or vice captain or anybody

    Absolutely stinks.

The relegation was pretty much nailed on realistically so an immediate response could have been made. It would be reasonable to assume that they'd made plans for two scenarios, namely a great escape or relegation. A response that acknowledged our relegation and what measures were in place to ensure we would be competitive in League One next season. Given the plight of the other teams they own I can't comprehend what their motives are with regard to these clubs or Barnsley FC. It really is a quite bizarre situation.

They probably think higher the number better the league position, they’re probably congratulating themselves for getting us right up to 24th in the table

They've managed to do it in France too. Double high fives in the boardroom :)

I think we are in that state of shock that you get sometimes when, even though you knew it was coming, it’s still a shock when it happens. I know I am and the last two games have been the worst I’ve ever experienced in football. A bit of silence and thinking time is appropriate before we realise that life goes on and we get on with it.
I don’t expect a hand wringing apology, I expect a statement about our future.

Woodrow apologised in his post match interview.

Edit: while we're on the subject of apologies, I've just noticed @Tyke_67 linked to this first, so, sorry!

I don't expect the players to come out and .ake apologies on their private social media accounts. If they want to then fine but i wouldn't hold it agaisnt them if they didn't. As other have pointed out Woodrow did it post Match.

It isn't the first time we've gone down lamely, but it's certainly the earliest in my living memory. It doesn't look like we'll be as well equipped for League One this time, especially after the anticipated cost cutting, so I'm expecting a much longer stay...similar to the period after admin.

I don't like players on social media. In general if they win 'great performance today. Lads did well. Fans were excellent. We go again' .... Or some generic ballax.

    We lose ........ '.......... ....... ...... .... .'
