Press conference quite civil, till the face off then Big John Fury decided to take over and ended up face to face with White,Tyson had to step in and calm it down, the size difference was immense Fury towered above White,in fact big John who is 6 foot 3 was level with White, unless he catches Fury with an overhand roundhouse punch, like Cunningham did ,can see Fury just out boxing him,Klitcho couldn’t close the gap of Fury massive reach,so why should White who doesn’t really do footwork
I’ve been to a few world title fights. There’s some right knobheads go to boxing. If you think cocaine abuse at Football is bad then go to boxing. I’d advise staying off the concourses, they get incredibly busy as people just hang around waiting for the main event. If you watch all the other fights then you’ll stay away from all the trouble.
You’ll be fine as I imagine 99% will be supporting Fury. Can be more hostile when there’s more of a split in fans. Unless you’ve paid big money your view won’t be great but anyone going to a stadium fight that isn’t paying big money is going for the atmosphere anyway.
Is that definitely correct regarding MTK sponsorship? He was more than prepared to get in to it in the interview I listened to the other day. Think it’s more complex to be able to definitely state he has any financial links.
I went to Froch vs. Groves. Will be a great atmosphere and with 94,000 there it’s not different to going to the football - in terms of you’ll see the occasional idiot but shouldn’t be anything to ruin your night. If you’ve paid to be down on the floor like we did then definitely walk around between fights before it gets dark. Incredible feeling to be on the pitch at Wembley and just imagine what it must be like playing in a stadium that size. Hope you all have a great time mate. Very jealous
He's also previously personally thanked him for his role, trying to organise the AJ fight 'Never been sponsored by MTK ever'... 'But what about all the MTK branding on your gear Tyson?'... 'Ah that was just for 3 years. Other than that, nothing'... 'Ah fair dos, we'll just ignore that then'... I don't know how anyone can deny links. They're there in broad daylight.
Thanks mate the budget didn’t stretch to 4 x pitch side so up in the gods but like you say I’m sure the atmosphere will be excellent and a great experience for the boys!
The ticket pricing for this fight vs. what we paid for Froch/Groves are night and day by the way. I saw £500 for the floor. Crazy
Was there last night, heads up the Metropolitan line was shut between Baker Street & Wembley Park(2 stops down) which caused chaos. We missed our 11.30 train back as a result and got home about 4.30am and that was with only 17000 there. Hopefully it will be back open today for you.
If it isn’t open consider walking the opposite way and getting the Overground in to central London instead (if it runs late enough for boxing). Always useful when the Metropolitan line is playing silly beggars.
Both have come a long way and deserve the night they are going to have. A number of bookies have boosted Fury to stop him to evens, but I still think Whyte isn't getting the respect his record deserves and it will be closer than people think.
Hardly the biggest heavyweight match ever! I think Whyte will give it a good go but surely Fury’s just got too much in the locker for him.
If any one has a stream link can they PM it to me... otherwise I'll have to go to the pub to watch it... you're keeping me healthy!
I hope Tyson finishes his career in style, putting on a boxing masterclass. But I do like (a lot) and rate (to a point) Whyte so I wouldn't be upset if he dethrones the king. Hope it goes 12 rounds, because I'm tight and £25 is £25. Head and heart says Fury between 6 and 9. Looking forward to it.
Can’t see past a late Fury stoppage. Think it’s a great fight! Really looking forward to it. Sadly other than Lowe v. Ball the undercard has been utter pump.
You think he really will call it a day after tonight? Hoping he wins and then gets winner of AJ/Usyk in December, finish in style
