Ok, below is a full list of our squad. Stick next to them how much you think we'll get for them. A game where the only winners are the players that finally get away from this car-crash of a club... I've got us to £16.25m, so we should be more than ok financially Jack Walton - £1m Jordan Williams - £500k Callum Styles - £1m Liam Kitching - £200k Mads Andersen - £2m Callum Brittain - £500k Cauley Woodrow - £2m Josh Benson - Released Aaron Leya Iseka - £500k Daniel Jinadu - £50k Carlton Morris - £2m Jasper Moon - £200k Herbie Kane - £500k Luke Thomas - Released Patrick Schmidt - Released George Miller - Free Joe Ackroyd - £50k Obbi Oularé - Released Jack Aitchison - £100k Tomas Kalinauskas - Free Victor Adeboyejo - £200k Michał Helik - £3m Brad Collins - £2m Devante Cole £200k Romal Palmer - Free Clarke Oduor - £200k William Hondermarck - £50k Aapo Halme - Released
If we can get those fees for Helik, Styles and Morris, we might not need to sell anyone else. Wouldn’t surprise me if they have clauses that let them leave for six figure fees though. Though Schmidt, Thomas and Oulare would need paying off to be released, so would be a minus figure.

Tomas could certainly go to Bristol on a free as long as They pay his wages we might even get a small fee. Not sure about Schmidt. Oulare though. If we didn’t sign him on a pay as you play deal we are in trouble
Pay as you play deals don't exist. Who would sign a contract without a guaranteed wage? In fact, they're probably not legal.
So they don't train either? You can't hold the contract of a professional footballer and not pay them.
I imagine the so called "pay as you play" deals we have heard of in the past are just caully fairly low (in football terms) weekly wages and highly weighted appearance fees.
I know they are only guesses & a bit of fun but I think your estimates of Collins, Anderson & Helick are well on the low side , also I am surprised that you did not know who Jack Aitcheson is being that he has had rave reports all season for Forest Green Rovers who have just got promoted , a player I am really looking forward to returning to the club
That's the easy bit. Now deduct £8m to fill the hole and then try to refill the squad with the money you have left. Ok, it's just a tongue in cheek thread and we all know that the finances are a wee bit more complicated than that - wages budget, etc. - but it does make me wonder what's going to happen next season.
I know who he is, but I've never seen him play to form a judgement. I think people are vastly underestimating just how little money there is in the game below Premier league level after the Covid crisis. I also think people vastly overestimate the ability and worth of our squad. Morris looks a good player, Woodrow has been a good goal scorer but is in his last year of contract and I'm led to believe Fulham have a significant sell on clause. I don't rate Helik, Andersen, Styles etc as any more than average, or good at times but hugely inconsistent at best. But I could be completely wrong, I have been many times in the past.
I think he has one year left on his contract. Potential saleable asset this summer or free agent next year, I think you are right @Redhelen .
I understand what you are saying & I go along with a lot of your thoughts about how much money or lack of is floating about in the game , however I think Helick in particular would command a decent fee , he is a current international who is likely to be playing in the world cup & is still young so might be an attractive addition for a decent championship club , I also think that Anderson who I am not his biggest fan offers experience & potential to get better & may attract some interest from championship level , regarding Aitcheson , Forest Green were on the box a few weeks ago so I took an interest & watched the game, the lad was outstanding, he played in the hole just behind the front two & basically ran the game, he is two footed , likes a shot & has a great engine on him , to be honest just the type of player we have been missing , we have spent 2 years sending him out to develop his game I now hope we are going to reap the benefits of this.
