Can I ask why Just PMG. Why not question New City Capital, why not question The Cryne (be it james or Jean) Neerav was at Oakwell tonight. why not question him?
Why is the CEO too much of a yes man? Not going to disagree with you, but just saying it over and over again doesn’t make it true. Chien Lee doesn’t need to be involved really. I think with a full time CEO that Conway won’t stick his nose in. Nothing his stopping him from doing so, but no evidence to suggest he will.
How many players that have been signed by the current regime have been sold for a substantial profit?
Let's be right, Conway was desperate to sell this summer but we didn't get high enough bids due to Covid. And the one sake they could do, Val , they couldn't agree fast enough and let him take all the backroom staff with him!
Spot on. Whatever we do for Coach/Manager/Magician and whatever players we get is wholly irrelevant. The problem is higher in the Club and until that gets sorted we’ll make no meaningful progress. We keep changing the bedsheets when they get too wet but the Problem is the roof. It needs replacing.
Not many. But we’ve had COVID impact us. So this is now a stick you beat the club with, but don’t give them much credit for choosing to not sell players when clubs don’t hit the asking price? Consistency is important remember.
I’m sure we did want to sell at the right price. We turned down £1.5m for Styles in January don’t forget and could have moved others on. The fire sale has been happening every window for four straight windows. It will happen this time though.
The whole lot of them including the crynes ceo rob zuk et al need to get their backsides around a table quick sharp and answer the fans questions and give us a detailed plan of where they are going with BFC and what their ambition / goals is going to be long term. They are all so called professional business people so this isn’t asking them to invent fire or chop their arms off it should be straightforward to present this to us. They also need to sort the mess out with the bills to be paid and the court case because every day that ticks by under this whole sh*t show the club rots and dies away a bit more. Admin is looming if nothing changes and the tills will be ringing empty very soon
I don’t agree. How long and how many chances do you think the Owners need/deserve. They have had their chance, consistently failed on and off the pitch and the worst thing is - there is no end in sight. They need to indicate their desire to leave. That would give the whole Club a lift; those who work for it and (most of) those who follow it.
Are we a great club to work for ? Looking at the staff that left last year and also the words from poya ? I think there’s more to this seasons failures than just poor coaches and recruitment
I think we’re an attractive club to work for yes. What supporters see and feel on the outside is rarely the reality of what goes on behind closed doors. Especially when you’ve got a more stable office team and you’re starting your Summer looking to recruit without mass departures.
I'd imagine it's great Loko. They arent expected to do anything. It's a complacent club. He does as little as possible. She does as little as possible. Both don't complain about each other. f the owners. Laugh at the fans. All good They aren't allowed to give the same excuses for things in March 2020 and April 2020 and don't change anything. Wonderful for them. Rubbish for us the fans though.
Agree, they have to come out and tell fans they mean business and stop d I c k ING about, but as most people know they'll carry on with the same f**k up with lies and deciet. At the end of the day these rob dogs are using players to sell and oakwell is nothing more than a stage to them. Whats worse is what kind of crap player can we find now, I feel we're going into this league very lightweight and under prepared, we're worse off players wise than any other relegations, upto now with these clowns next season is scary, and they've done nothing to convince anyone that their up for it.
Don’t be sorry. Why aren’t we? Given we’ll likely be looking at upcoming coaching talent than someone taking a step back?
Hemsy - the axe you’ve got against people who work day to day at the club needs letting go. I’m not even sure what you mean in this post so can’t give you a genuine reply.
