Simply stop posting. Personally, I'd prefer you to continue, but if you're adamant that you wish to no longer contribute, just cease.
Yes, I know I can stop posting and I will, but I don't know why they can't just delete my account? It should be a simple thing to do and I'm well within my rights to ask for it. Not posting isn't really the point anymore. I don't want this board to have access to the personal details I used when I signed up. I deal with requests like this at work all the time, if I simply ignored them I'd lose my job and the company I worked for would be fined.
I'm not sure if it can or can't be done it im sure the answer has been they don't previously. Wouldn't compare it to a workplace as this board is free for the users and Admin are just volunteers.
But they still use personal information to allow people to sign up, regardless of whether this is a business, not-for-profit or voluntary if I want my account deleting the administrators of this forum should be able to do that. In fact I've just checked on the xenforo forum and you can indeed delete user accounts. So, @Gally or @Loko the Tyke or @fired or @Farnham_Red please, just delete my account.
Do i think we are OK? No i dont. I fear the worst. Here's my reasoning:- 1. The owners work at the lowest end of the spectrum in the context. And attempt to be just good enough. No margin for error. As such i expect them to lower their 'level' to be just good enough in L1. High risk. 2. The execution of a number of key objectives has been very very poor. The resale of young talent, hungry players, consolidate championship level, better game day experience ..... the list goes on of failure after failure. I dont think the owners are competent to execute a successful, high risk plan. 3. So if the plan is wrong and the execution is wrong why would i need a third topic? Because i think we could be in a vicious circle, and race to the bottom. While ever we have the above and then add to the challenge less income (when their sole objective is ROI - not on field success) then they will cut their cloth to suit. They wont help the business along. Hope i am wrong and we succeed exceptionally
Of course we can do that. But you can't kick and scream because it hasn't been done instantly when everyone is at work. I'd understand if everyone was posting to the BBS at the same time and simply ignoring you, but that hasn't been the case at all.
I had a pm conversation with both you and Gally over the course of 2 hours this morning, either one of you could have done it then. I'm not kicking and screaming, I'm asking for something doing and no one has done it or contacted me with a time frame in which I can expect it to be done.
You know what was being discussed in that conversation earlier. My last reply to you came as I went underground on the tube - if your account was deleted before that you wouldn't have received the message. I'll commit to doing this by 7pm tonight. Mainly because I can't see the 'delete' option on the admin panel and I'm about to jump in to another meeting.
There is some crap thrown around on this forum (I do my share of the throwing for sure) but I think having a proper selection of beers on the fanzone is a scant positive... Brewdog aint for everyone but I''ll take it over the club's options any day of the week.
Shocker alert. George being obsessed with disagreeing and pointing it out again. On this website, Facebook's Conway Out Group, wherever else he can type a response Also, I haven't defended criticism. Just gave my opinion and then discussed it/put my view across.
Keep seeing the ramblings of Reevill ( the Reev) and another on that Conway out FB page. Their obsession of the ST and it’s members on here goes way beyond that of ordinary supporters wanting what’s best for the club and is just a personal vendetta. Indeed, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if folk see it as anything other than a vehicle for that, hence the FB page being ineffectual.
Embarrassing TBH, can understand some thinking the ST are ineffective but making personal insults is just sad.
