    No, he wasn't allowed in the team this year. Our loss seems to be Hearts gain though, ridiculous decision in my view

    No, Williams was playing an important role to the style and system that Poya wanted us to play. When he got injured, not only did we lose an important player, it was another man down from an already threadbare squad. Brittain just isn't suited to any role that isn't an out and out wing back.

    Injuries and lack of confidence are going to ruin Jordan Williams' career. He's a cut above when he has his mojo. I think he'd be great going forward.

    I was referring to Brittan being out not sure if you meant him or Williams as you mention both?

    Just meant I think the purple patch was down to having the right players for the system we wanted to play. Williams, able to play right back, or a back three, with pace to drive forward as the spare man in the defence. The system of having a full back tuck into a back three doesn't really work if you have Vita and Brittain as the full backs. So no surprise that results got gradually worse as we lost Williams, then Helik.
