Clears a bit up. I'd like to hear from Khaled about the way forward though. I might be able to accept things more if there was a definitive direction or plan.

Devaney: “I have had one tactical session and I will have another one on Friday."

What do they do all week?

Whatever Khaled says I wouldn't pay much attention, I don't think he knows what he's doing himself to be honest.

makes you wonder though doesn't it? Can't be overworking the players nowadays, most on £3k to £5k a week! It's a laugh... :):)

I would imagine, from what I saw from the game on Tuesday, that Woodrow, Morris, Vita, Kitchin and Brittan will not start the game on Saturday

    No

They have F all time when playing twice a week.
He said he trained with them on
Sunday. That would likely have been a decent training session with good intensity.
Monday. Games specific stuff. a few drills. Maybe a video session.
    Tuesday, game day.
Wednesday. imagine self-stretching and off day.
Thursday. Watch game back early. Decent training session. Work on a few small things, nothing major.
Friday. just like Monday. Game stuff, few small drills and a video.

Something Poya said when he first came he was going to have to try and do stuff on video. You simply don't have the hours on the training pitch to do the things they want. Wich would be something he would be used to also at international level because its the same for them.

Just listen to the way someone like Ben Foster talks about the champ. Relentless he calls it. He said it was like they never could rest or focus on anything.

Family/ friends time. Forget it. Just about making sure you are OKAY at best for the next game and get through it.

It doesn't mean they don't train. It's just that specific days are dedicated to different things. The first tactical session in regards to Tuesday night's game and then another prior to Saturday.

I think it's fairly common in football that your Friday training session is specifically on the tactics for the weekend game. Other training sessions would cover fitness, shape, etc.

Can't do tactics on their "off day". I'm baffled. Sitting in a room talking tactics can't be that hard surely

I read in one of interviews thiz week that the young players will be used for the rest of the season and will be first team players next season too. Inferring that there won't be a lot of transfer activity inwards, or possibly not inferring that, who knows?

No. They need to go through them on the training pitch. Some of them will watch personal stuff alone. The second video below a good one to show that. Also the pitch cam stuffs very good.

Our players will likely be able to train the most. Hearing some payers are able to only play once a week and play twice a week.

If you watch someone like Ryan Tafazolli videos you will see what they do.

Again someone doing a hobby compared to what they take out of the club in the media team. amazing.

Barnsley media team haven't done anything to explain it but he shows how good whoop is. It's amazing for those that make fitness to a decent level from the looks of things.

For balance, after you've read all that guff, players go in for 2 hours a day. When they go in. Which they don't very often. If you've got a 40 hour a week job you'll do more hours in a week than a footballer will do in two months.

It isn't 2 hours a day though Jay and I think you know that. If you watch the above.

listen to Podcasts with Rio Ferdinand, Ben Foster Troy Deeney to name a few along with the evidence above also on the video you see it's not two hours a day at all.

The 'Media' team (though in reality their roles extend far beyond that), will do far more hours than the players. Fact.

    For perhaps £15 per hour.

Average 1st teamer... maybe £150 per hour?

That's a bit harsh mate. I think the fans in Gdansk are probably as appalled at being owned by PMG as the rest of us are
