From the Chronicle Article: Barnsley could set a club record low tally of home goals in a season, which is currently 22. They have netted 17 goals in 22 home games this season, so would need five against Preston to avoid equalling the record.

The last part is incorrect. It sounds like we want to avoid scoring five goals, so that we can beat our last lowest Home total.

FFS I meant sat about polishing knobs. A euphemism for w@nking as apposed to training given how crap they've been.

Why do people have to go all Audrey Whitehouse without taking the context.

Or are you pulling my leg?

Its still risky tho.. if we play half a team of 'young un's ' and they get a good hiding then that won't do them, Devaney and selling STs for next season any good at all. I'd still go with the shower of 5'hite that let us down all season. Give the lads that start next season a bit of a clean slate then..

I like your sentiment but I'd rather blood them in the Championship in a tough atmosphere to let them know nothing else can be that hard. Imagine what a win for the under 23's could do?

Fella currently at Man Utd said something this week along lines of we need to make sure we put the effort in, how we perform between now and end of season impacts the morale and confidence for next season.

    Very appropriate I thought.

it's not an 8 hour day though as it physically can't be, there's plenty of " downtime" during the week, even allowing for things like media appearances , charity work etc.

Absolutely pathetic that these losers do so little work that they only manage 2 tactical sessions a week. No excuse at all.

Have you ever had a job? I am currently sat outside KFC on my way home because I'm too knackered to cook owt after working a 13 hour shift today. I left him at 5:40am and will be home around 10 to 8 at night.

Yesterday I did 4am till 4pm, Wednesday it was 4am till 5pm, Tuesday was 4am to 4pm and Monday was 8am to 10pm.
Im sorry if my heart doesn't bleed for cauley Woodrow and friends on half a million a year having to actually put a shift in and train after strolling around taking the piss on Tuesday

Judging by the season we have just endured I would say that understanding tactics has been extremely difficult for our lot !

I'd be looking for another job. I'm not trying to make light of the matter as needs must and I don't know your circumstances. But most folk don't and won't do those hrs and neither should they. Unless they want to.
Work to live I understand. Not live to work. This is becoming more like the dark ages. 1 Reason. no one prepared to fight for fear of reprisals. And some people have the nerve to criticise good unions for fighting for the best terms and conditions for their members. Because it's more than they are getting in their role. Get ready when these tory ******** try reducing workers rights.
Something some Brexit voters didn't think of.

It isn't regular. This week has been exceptional. But the last few weeks have also been exceptional at oakwell yet they still work part time

You're taking the piss, yeah? You make it sound like there aren't enough hours in the day for them. To see family / friends?? Nah, I am not biting. Thats a wind up.

They go in when they're told to go in and most days it's for 5 or 6 hours not the reported 2.....
I've nothing against them having their day off cancelled when they've been a **** as they have but if your going to state how many hours they are in for at least be factual.....
A lot of "i work a load of hours" type comments... get another job mate cos yours sounds ****, unless your on £100k and then good on you .....
