    Before the line up was announced, we knew that Collins, Helik, Williams and Halme were injured as well as the three loanees leaving. We’ve since been told that Andersen and Brittain are injured. Some will believe that, others won’t. But either way, they’re not available for selection.

    Absolute thankless task for Devaney. Because apart from maybe Woodrow. Who else would you pick? Cole, Iseka, Benson, Odour? They’re not exactly screaming a case for selection.

    Palmer has imho the worst attitude in the squad. Promise yes ...ability kind of...but woeful in his application.
    I had high hopes after the first game but his standard over the season has been shocking (as have a few others).
    Please release...we need players with good attitude.

    I'm a 1000% behind him. full reset needed. clear that players have been dropped due to their attitude. I would rather watch the 23s run their blood to water and lose 5-0, than watch the so-called pros surrender then go into hiding. fk em. fk the lot of em.

    Cole, Iseka and Benson should all be involved if fit, I can't see us getting rid of them without taking a big loss, so they are the players most likely to remain after the summer sales

    Didn't Mad Mel Machin do something similar against Southend and we ended up winning 3-1. Gareth Williams hat-trick from memory. Think Mark Burton and Troy Bennet (thhnk that was his name, played left mid) both played and Dave Watson made one of his early appearances in goal. Think it was either Collymore or Jason Lee who got their goal as well.

    Would rather give the kids a go, rather than play any of those 3 TBH.

    If a new manager can get something out of them in the summer fair play, but for me non of them have earned a start.

    I’d give the job to Devaney over some unknown Austrian at this stage. If there’s any chance of an experienced British based manager then maybe not- but that seems very unlikely. Let’s see some effort from the kids today regardless of the result., that would be an improvement for a start.

    Highlights how crap our recruitment was last summer, we might as well have kept our money along with Kane, Miller and Schmidt if we want to fill the stand with signings that we don't trust.
