When the match report was first published on the BBC page (and other websites that I assume use the same source) the attendance was listed as 3,090 - which is probably what prompted the post by the OP. It has since been updated to 13,190 so we now know the first was a typo. Regardless, we all know that neither are actually correct.
Actually I thought that was the case from previously raising this topic but perhaps it isn’t as I cant see any rules around this. It looks like most clubs just opt to publish tickets sold rather than actual attendances
Maybe there were loads of police and stewards because they’d heard there was going to be a protest…. What they didn’t realise was that the protest involved folk not going.
