I'll stand corrected. But I think the outcome of the survey will be discussed at the next trust meeting (may 17th) So reckon a statement may come after that. Over to you loko.

Still open. Will be pushing it on social throughout the week.

Then need to cleanse the obvious repeat votes or made up names not linked to memberships and see if that makes any different to overall trends. Fair bit of work involved.

I’ll just make this one comment… do the trust have mailer details of members? If so, you could easily create a single completion survey sent direct to members and save yourself a lot of manual work.

What about those that don't use a computer; doesn't their view count?

The form used was online, so nobody offline would be able to take it, unless a paper version was posted on request. I’d expect nowadays offline members would be very minimal.

Will results be published, even if its only to those who participate? Normal business protocol for surveys.

Of course their view counts. But without investment and lots of time, you can't cater for absolutely everyone. However we believe this is the best way to get the best representation, which is the main objective.

We want to encourage people to join before completing the survey, so that any follow up comms go to a lot more members.

Our plan was to just VLOOKUP from one tab to another but open to any other suggestions. The main objective was to avoid duplication of entries or for the survey to be gate crashed by non-supporters.

I think I’d have tackled it as two separate phases and projects. A campaign to encourage applications, then your survey phase to the subscribed audience which is then a closed group and subsequently very simple and swift to summarise and analyse.

Appreciate varying factors that may have made that trickier in the circumstances, but I’d always recommend splitting the actual surveying process.

Biggest factor mainly being working at pace.

Hopefully you make it an ongoing recurring process. Once you get into a regular cycle of understanding your members, it's much easier to split out gathering valuable insight from membership building and data profiling.

Absolutely. It’s a great opportunity and method for cutting out the online noise and giving the empowerment back to supporters on sharing opinions.

Feedback has almost being universally positive and the response rates good. Will make it easier moving forward to get an accurate snapshot in time of the majority opinion rather than just the loudest (which coincidentally might end up being the same).

Well if you need input on refining it, including the process and methodology, as I've said to Gally in the past, I'm more than happy to offer my professional opinions and advice. But hope it gives valuable insight that can be leveraged to do whats needed in this moment.

Appreciate that - thank you. Will definitely be in touch if we ever get more complex than what Microsoft Forms automatically provides.
