Some people are just like that.. if they won 10k they'd still moan cos someone else won 50k. Just let em get on with it.
From what I’ve read it seems to be “ same ****, different shovel” More than likely caused by the investors worrying about the potential loss of revenue due to the miserable season tickets sales . I’ve heard it’s stands at 2300 from last week. !
But are we still going to have to play silly games like no signings over 25. Players picked by ticks on a computer or whatever they did . Apparently we are still under the Pacific media group
If Grace Hung got voted off the board, why does it say here she resigned? https://find-and-update.company-inf...cers/GnU6OYL2rL3-GfhoGUOHU2E4PYY/appointments
You just can’t please some people. It’s as good as we could have hoped for right now and we certainly didn’t see it coming. Wish people would just get behind the club now and give us the best chance possible of a decent coming season.
But they’re not on the Board. To me, that means, very simply they have no decision making capability whatsoever. None. They still own shares, which they can keep or sell. But as for having any legal capacity to make operational decisions. They have none, beyond standard AGM voting rights. If I’ve got that wrong and someone can explain why, that would be brill.
On holiday at Cleethorpes. This news has made my day. I don't want to over digest the info. It's good enough for me.
What are you basing that on? It’s a genuine question. I’m baffled as to where this idea is coming from that they’re still somehow running things. How? If your view is that the people still on the board are part of the problem, ie Cryne, Parekh, Zuk, then fair enough, as they’re still there. But why would you think people who have just been removed from the Board of Directors, would still have any authority?
This, so far seems like good news. And, like everyone else on here I will be forever grateful to Patrick Cryne for saving the club. however, I still feel that we are where we are due to James Cryne and these bloody stats sheets, that over the last few years have turned out to be garbage on the whole. Many on here have said we need experience on the pitch, not 20 year olds running around not being able to pass a ball to each other and looking like headless chickens. let’s hope this ‘new’ board recognise that and we do indeed move forwards and upwards from where we now find ourselves…
