Isn't JAQ representing the PMG investors? She isn't representing the majority shareholders on her own but the shareholding she acts for now forms a majority when put together with the Parekh and Cryne shareholdings.
The CEO will have a different strategy partly to follow hopefully. I really don't know what would entice you back. But whatever it is. I reckon you'll have a long wait. Cos I don't envisage a total takeover by other parties. Anytime soon.
No. But her, James and Neerav are on the same page and that's the majority I'm referring to. That's what allowed them to vote through these board changes.
They have been in the same place for the last 5 year . let’s not get carried away . We’ve still got owners who will not invest in the squad or the ground ! If and when they take full control I will back then to the hilt . Looks to me like we have just shuffled the cabinet to appease fans to buy season tickets
Let’s see what next season brings. Last season, I do think a lot of the grief stemmed from frustration at not being able to get to Conway. He can’t hide behind that now, so he’s going to need to step up. Operationally there’s so much wrong at the Club, and it’s on him to fix it. I expect to see big improvement from him next season. Will also be interesting to see how much visibility there is from the new Board. Guessing this Julia Quay is going to be the mouthpiece? My sincere hope is she will be visible when needed.
I agree with most of that, except for Frieser. I thought he did OK. I wouldn't necessarily put him in your first list, but I don't think he fits in your second list, either. Somewhere in-between.
She’s just a mouthpiece for the investors just like conway was . I cannot see what’s going to change !
Ha. Yes. I mean yes. But was saying no to a different part of your post. We're on the same page anyway.
The Hong Kong group may just have appointed a new mouthpiece or they may have decided that Lee and Conway have failed miserably and changed things. Neither you nor I know which at this point.
I suppose the big question is who is the lender of last resort, as Patrick used to refer to himself. Is it Neerav? Will Julie Anne be able to source funds from the other investors? Is it the Crynes? And is Khaled going to remain in post? If he's given remit to run the club by Neerav, Jean and Julie Anne then he might turn out okay.
No they don't. Conway's shareholding is reduced and therefore they become minority shareholders hence how they can be removed from the board.
